Mike is the Green Samurai Ranger but that didn't get in the way of him being friends with Mia. Though, it's one of the only secrets he keeps from her to keep her out of harms way. He would get interruptions from his Samurai team but he told me "family business" he needed to attend. That's one of the reasons he likes her because she's always understanding, and never asks questions about it.
Mia Watanabe and Mike have been friends since they were in diapers. Mike is just a little older than Mia by a couple months. She would hang out with him when he has time. But time has gotten short when he turned fifteen. At age sixteen, Mia's mom had gotten sick and had given Mia the small pink Samurai Zord. This was an indication that Mia would soon be taking her mom's place as the Pink Samurai Ranger during the time she's eighteen. That is if her mom will allow it.
She's now six months into her nineteenth year and nothing yet. She's hanging out with Mike, who's now her boyfriend, and they're just at the park talking.
