Chapter 14

"Hello?" I asked as the phone was picked up by someone.

"....."

There was no response.

"HELLO?" I asked even louder.

.....

None.

"HELLO? Frank are you even there?" I asked him in a very impatient tone. I was very anxious right now because I wanted to tellhim about what happened to Jake and what I just saw when I investigated the house earlier this afternoon.

"...." There was still no response, right now I was angry because I really wanted someone to talk to, and someone to help me with these puzzle pieces, i'm currently in my room right now with the puzzle pieces all scattered in front of me. Outside my window was the sun slowly setting down and making the horizon turn yellow-orange.

"HELLO?!"

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

I was startled when I heard that voice, it sounded like Frank's voice crying out for help. It sounded like he was in distress, with that I began to worry about him, this was not just an ordinary scream this scream sounded like he was really in big trouble.

"Frank? Frank?"

"AHHHHHHHHHH! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!"

"FRANK! What's happening to you?!"

"HELPPPP! ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!"

"FRANK!" I yelled out through my phone, the scream seemed to work because as I did that he began to stop screaming.

"Megan?" I heard him ask.

"Frank, what's happening to you?!"

"Megan, Megan please help me." He told me cryingly.

"Where are you?!" I asked him frantically.

"I don't know, but she's here! The girl she's got me! Please Megan help me!"

"Alright, alright calm down i'll call for help okay?"

"What is she doing to you?" I asked him.

"She tied me up upside down, and left me in here hanging, i'm so scared right now!"

"Time for you to die Frank!" A voice from a distance told him.

"Frank!" I yelled out before the phone call was cut.

FRANK'S POV

"Well, it was fun playing with you, did you really think that I would lose to you?"

I then gave her a face angry, the angriest face I have ever made. I wanted to eliminate this thing from the face of the Earth, yet I couldn't she was too strong and i'm here tied up upside down looking at her and fearing for what she might do to me.

Suddenly the body of a little girl became a lady, probably i  her early 20s appear right before me. I was shocked about what I saw, I wasn't expecting it to be her, to be the one who had been causing this trouble and the one who successfully hid her personality from me.

"Oh Frank, you really are stupid."

"How did you not notice that it was me all along? The one who caused all of this."

"I want to tell you a little story, once upon a time there were 6 Friends and they were Amber, Amy, Megan, Frank, Jake and Dexter. They were all so fond with each other but little did they know that some of them had so many secrets, dark secrets to be exact."

"Leave Megan alone Amber!" I told her.

Yes, it was Amber all along, the one who killed off Dexter, Jake, and Amy she was the one who caused all of this havoc, the one who destroyed our friendship, we never really expected her to be one of them, the betrayers, she was so good in masquerading herself as a good person, but you never know what these kinds of people hide, remember the Demon was once an Angel.

"I can't make promises Frank, now where was I? Oh yeah I was about to kill you right now."

"You won't get away with this Amber!"

"Try me."

I then closed my eyes in anticipation for pain suddenly a sharp pain struck me in the head. It was so painful that I started screaming as blood started gushing out of my head, I could imagine my brain slowly dropping from the protection of my own skull. After that I felt another sharp pain in the head before everything went black.

MEGAN'S POV

After hearing that phrase I started to call Frank's number again frantically, my hands were shaking, my heart was pumping very fast, I started hyperventilating, and I had sweat all over my body. I was getting worried for Frank, where was he and who wanted to kill him? Was it someone that hated him? I don't know.

After a few redials and unanswered calls from Frank my hope was about to run out I tried calling it one more time and to my surprise the phone was picked up but it was not the person that I would expect to have Frank's phone with.

"Don't even think about coming in here or calling the police, i'll be watching you." I heard a voice that may be coming from a little girl.

I then kept silent as I heard those words come right out from her mouth, now I was scared, there's 4 of us dead already and I don't know who's gonna be next.

"I'll see you later at dawn 1:00 AM goodluck "Chosen One" " she told me as if she was trying to taunt me.

"Where's Frank?!" I asked her in a brave tone though I regret doing that because talking to this person is scary.

"I'll tell you where's Frank, in the cemetery, which means he's dead, DEAD, dead!" She says in a very evil manner.

"How dare you! You heartless monster!" I told the voice.

"Thank you for that compliment!"

"F**K YOU a**hole!"

I then hung up from the call and started to find the puzzle pieces, I reached for my bag and scattered all 5 of the pieces on the floor, the 5th one was the ruby the old man gave to me when I visited him.

Okay, these 5 artifacts form something. I told myself, these 5 relics look like they're forming a sword obviously because of the swordlike handle present in one of the pieces.

I took the first puzzle piece that I found in Dexter's room and found a hole that would be where the 2nd puzzle piece will be placed. I then took the 2nd piece and connected it to the first puzzle piece, when I placed it I heard a click sound and I realized that I had placed it correctly. 

I then picked up the 3rd puzzle piece from the floor and connected it to the 2nd and 1st ones.

CLICK!

The sound of the 3rd puzzle piece clicked and was successfully assembled from the figure. Now it was time for the 4th puzzle piece. It was a necklace type of thing that would be connected to the sword. I then inspected the sword and saw a deep hole forming a necklace in the base of the sword. I tried to force the 4th piece and to my surprise it fit.

Now for the final puzzle piece, the ruby that the old man gave me. I picked up the ruby and placed it on the necklace's hole in the center. Suddenly the sword started to glow bright light and began floating in my room. I was kinda freaked and amazed at the same time, after a few seconds the sword fluttered down into my hands and turned gold.

It looked like the sword wasn't even touched or even torn apart by age.

"Here I come little girl." I told myself. "I'm coming for you!"
