Chapter 10

"Just come with me." I told her.

We then ran away from the scene and brought her to the cemetery's exit. She looked puzzled as I brought her here. Her face filled with so much confusion because I took her here and fright because of what just happened earlier. As we got there we heard sirens coming from outside of the cemetery. It was not the ambulance siren nor the fire department siren. It sounded like a police car siren.

Soon enough we saw men in their police uniform holding their guns and pointing it at things, when they saw us they asked us where the murder occurred, we answered them truthfully amd told them that it was near a tree. They will see it easily because of the people flocking on the scene.

As soon as they fled away to the crime scene I then turned towards Amber and took a deep breath as I tried to talk.

"Why did you bring me here?" She asked me

"Because I need to tell you something." I told her

"What?"

"You know the writing on the wall that we saw earlier?"

"Yeah?" She said.

"And it looked really creepy too, because it was in the site where Amy was killed."

"Well, I think this might be connected to something, remember the night of Dexter's death?, maybe he died because he found that puzzle piece from inside the house."

"Wait hold up." She told me." It doesn't look very realistic to me, are you saying that someone's been following us and killing us off one by one?"

"Yeah." I told her. "I feel like it's not just someone, it feels like something is following us and killing us off since we our visit to that haunted house you brought us into." I told her coldly.

She was then silent after I told her that, a few minutes later she then stared at me, her eyes filled with confusion. I knew that she couldn't putthe pieces together but to me it feels like the writing on the tree js another clue to the 3rd puzzle piece.

"Hey." I told her." What time is it?" I asked.

"Umm, its 8:57 AM"

My face then sported a smile, Amber saw me do this and it looked as if she was frightened because of what I looked, and because of my mysterious looking smile. As she looked at me she felt nervous and frightened at the same time, she only stared at me as I thought about what was going on in my head.

"Why are you smiling?" She asked me.

"I think I know where the 3rd puzzle piece is." I tell her.

"You do?! Where?"

"Just come with me, i'll show you where I think the 3rd piece of the puzzle might be hiding in."

"Well, c'mon!" She tells me.

I then grab her hand and we ran through the exit of the cemetery, the mansion was only a few minutes away from the cemetery so it wouldn't take long for us to go there and explore the place to hunt for the 3rd piece of this mysterious puzzle that seems to be taking the lives of my friends everytime I find another puzzle piece of this mystery.

As we got through the exit of the cemetery we then ran towards the direction of the house. It was very visible from this distance. The house was just a few meters away, I knew it because of its visibility from where we are right now. I then stood there for a few minutes and looked behind me to see if there was someone following us.

I looked behind me and saw a silhouette of a man, he looked really tall, almost as if it was one of our friends, Frank to be exact! I was frightened as I saw the shadow and decided to look back. I ordered Amber to stay there for a bit and wait for me until I come back. She then gave me a nod and I proceeded to follow the silhouette I had seen earlier.
