That's about it! HAPPY READING!
As I got out of the old people's home I walked into the streets, feeling scared and frightened of what just happened earlier. Those eyes, those red eyes that struck me, I don't think I can ever forget those evil red eyes ever again. The girl behind the man too freaked me out, she looked like she was the one in my dream. White dress with polka dots, and a bloody cleaver. Definitely from my dream.
I then walked through the night, fear circulating in my mind. There were so many thoughts in my head, the girl, the man, and the chosen one thing. I don't even think i'm still living in reality or if all of this is just one of those nightmares wherein I can't escape.
As I walked through the dark and abandoned streets I passed through the haunted house we had gone in last night, as soon as I walked past there I could feel fear creeping up on me. I then ran through the night and hoped that I would get to my destination fast.
Minutes passed by and I could see Dexter's house in the distance, I then walked towards it and saw people paying their respects for him. I walk inside the house and see his coffin standing in the middle of the living room, I also see my friends in the corner feeling sad.
I then walked towards the coffin to see Dexter's face, when J saw him he was as handsome as he was when he was still alive. I used to have a crush on him in 6th grade but all of those things were easily forgotten and thrown away, i'm still glad that we at least became friends but the fact that he's now gone permanently saddens me. He was the happiest person in our grouo and I was just so shocked to see him die like that.
I turned my back from Dexter's coffin and walked towards my friends, Amy and Amber were both weeping while the boys were keeping their heads down and also crying silently. I then gave them a group hug to cheer them up.
"Hey." I told them."don't be sad, at least Dexter's in a happy place now."
"Yeah, you're right but I still can't believe he would just.... die like that!" Amy told me.
"Hey, that's life everything is unexpected good or bad everything is very unexpected."
I then walked away from the group and decided to go to the bathroom to wash myself up, as I got to the bathroom I then washed my face thoroughly and calmed myself down, J wanted to keep myself from these confusing things that are surrounding me.
As I lifted my head up I saw a familiar sentence written on the mirror. It was the riddle that was placed on the piece of paper! I then turned behind me and saw the little girl holding the bloody cleaver! I froze in shock as I saw her and I couldn't move any muscle at all as I saw her.
"Find it! Find it! Find it!!!"
The little girl finally disappeared, as she faded she left me paralyzed inside the bathroom, as soon as I realized that I had regained control all over my body I ran with all my might outside of the bathroom and out of the house. My heart was beating so fast as I got out. I then took very deep breaths and calmed myself down.
Wow! I thought to myself, three scary events in just one day. First it was Dexter's death, second was the littke girl showing up in the old people's home and the third kne was the little girl's second attack. I then sat down on the chair and wondered about what the girl told me. What did she want me to find? Was it the one written in the riddle? And if so where is it located?
I took another look inside my bag and tried to find the riddle again, I read it and repeated the words in my mind. After doing that I obviously think that it's inside the library. But which library is it? I ask myself. Is it the one in the mansion perhaps? Or is it hidden somewhere else?
I don't know if I will be able to do this, ut if this is what it takes to stop that stupid ghost from haunting me then I will do it! I thought to myself. I then stood up from my chair and brought up courage. Because I knew that I might really need it when I visit that place. I know it's kinda strange but i'm doing this because I want this thing to leave me and my friends alone in peace.
I then walk out of the gate of the house and ran towards the haunted mansion we visited last night. As I was running I could feel that the whole environment was getting a little cold. I then stopped for a sec and put on a jacket that I had completely forgotten that I had it before I left home this afternoon. Once all of that was set I proceeded to walk for a few minutes towards the haunted mansion.
After minutes of continuous walking I finally arrived, the place was dark and scary, I wasn't really surprised to see this kind of atmosphere when I got to the place because... what can you expect from a haunted house? Eerie surroundings of course!
I then walked up to the door and held the doorknob, my hand started shaking as I held the cold doorknob. I then stared at the door for a second to gather up some courage, after a few minutes of staring I finally have the courage to get in the haunted mansion.
I then twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open, it looked exactly like what it was last night. I was in the livingroom, it was dark, very spacious, creepy and it looked very old. I walked around the livingroom for a bit to find the library.
After inspecting it there was no sign of the library in the livingroom area. I proceeded to find other rooms, I decided to go up to the second floor of the place. I then walked up the large, and very old fashioned stairs to get to the second floor.
When I got there, there were more rooms. A line of rooms in the right side as well as the left side. I then walked through the hall and picked one door. I opened the first door near me in the right side and saw that it was a bedroom, a very creepy bedroom if you ask me. But still there was no sign of the library so I had to keep looking.
I then opened the second door to my right and saw that it was an empty room, there was nothing in it, since there was nothing really interesting in here I left the room and decided to explore the left side. I walked down the hall amd reached the left side of the secod floor. I then walked through the first room and opened it, there was nothing in the room so I closed the door and left the room.
I was kinda surprised though that there were still no haunts coming from the spirits that reside in here or should I say the spirits that were believed to reside in here. I walked up to the second door and opened it, there was still nothing in the room. I closed the door again in frustration. I then rubbed my face and continued to the third door.
Before I could even reach the third door a loud thud echoed throughout the whole house. It frightened me though but I didn't pay too much attention, there is something hidden in here that came from the past and I know I need to find it.
I then opened to third door and it revealed to be the library! I was so relieved that I found it, I went inside the room and closed the door behind me. My searching then began. I pulled some books and tried to see if the puzzle piece was hidden in there.
After continous tries I still couldn't find any signs of the puzzle piece the old man was talking about. I told myself that I would give it one last try. I then pulled the book in the lower left corner of the bookshelf. But something was wrong.
It wasn't coming off! I tried with all my might to pull it off but I couldn't, suddenly the book fell down horizontally by accident. As it fell down the bookshelf in the right side of the room suddenly opened and it revealed to be a secret room! I walked inside the secret room only to find cobwebs and lots of boxes. I knew that this was going to take a long time for me to get through so I decided that I would do it tomorrow morning.
I placed the book back up vertically and the bookshelf closed itself as I did it. I then opened the door quietly and ran down to the first floor.
"Hihihihi!"
"Come play with me!"
Those voices again! I then ran out of the livingroom and out the door. I knew it was risky to go there at night so I decided that I would go there at morning when I needed to. I was out in the front porch of the house and I proceeded to run out of the house's vicinity. Shortly after that I found myself running home.
