"Dandelion? Dandelion, where are you?" Fire yowled frantically, searching worriedly for the healer that he needed very much.
"Fire! Calm down, what's the problem?" Dandelion responded, flustered by all of the noise.
"Tiger's throwing up in my den!" He growled, his eyes worried and fearful.
"Why didn't you say? Arina, get the supplies, the condition of the patient is throwing up!" She called to the young she-cat that trained under her.
"Hurry!" Fire urged.
Fire led both healers into his den where Tiger lay, a pool of last nights dinner next to her. Dandelion attempted to get Tiger to sit, but all she did was moan and wail in pain.
"The supplies." Dandelion mumbled.
The two other cats looked at her confused.
"Give me the supplies!" She growled annoyed.
"Oh- Of course!" Arina mewed sheepishly passing the supplies over the Dandelion.
As Dandelion did her work, she slowly came to a conclusion.
"All right. She should be fine now." Dandelion grumbled her tail flicking in annoyance.
"What's wrong with her?"
"Prepare yourself for some big news"
"What?"
"You heard me! I have big news!"
"Tell me it already if you have it!"
"I don't know now if your worthy of hearing it."
"Tell me the news about my mate!"
"You'd better sit, this news is pretty big!"
"Just tell me already you ol' shrimp brain!"
"Well, that was rather insulting. Now, I don't want to tell you."
"Tell me, unless you want to deal with Flower!"
"Fine. She's having kits"
Fire gasped. He looked at his mate, then himself, then Dandelion.
"Stop lying! It's not funny!" He yowled.
"I'm not lying." Dandelion said dully.
"No no no no no...." Fire mumbled, pacing around the den.
"Calm down Fire." Arina said, seeing the fear that had sprung into the young tom's eyes.
" I'm going hunting.." Fire mumbled and ran out of the den and into the dark forest.
"Poor gal" Dandelion said, grooming Tiger's semi-matted fur.
Both medicine cats looked upon Tiger with pity.
