I awake to the sound of rain violently trying to enter my home and douse me in the sorrow that has enveloped my life.
The pain in my eyes from tears is no match to the pain in my heart.
I sit up and grab my cracked phone.
Don't worry little guy, you're not alone
6 a.m.
What a time to be awake. I'd rather be asleep, at the mercy of my dreams, it'd be better than awake, where the pain is never ending.
At the thought of yesterday, I can feel the all to familiar sensation of tears in my eyes. I shut my eyes. A tear streams down my face. It just reminds me all the more of the events of the past. I can't bear this.
I fall back asleep, only to be greeted by another dream about her.

She takes my hand, she's warm. Not the warm kind of warm. The loving kind of warm. I can feel love emanating from all of her being. She takes me more, my arms, my body, in a tight embrace. She's glowing, shedding light upon our surroundings. I don't look away from her, in fear that our surroundings are horrible. She's all I want to look at. All I want.
I'm torn from this dream at the clap of lightning. This causes me to jump.
I sit up and rub my eyes.
This is horrible
