We drove several minutes to the closest store with Mary in control of the music and the boys jumping around in the back seat. All I could think about was the shinning lights from behind me and Bobby behind the wheel of those shining lights.

I wondered what he was thinking after my weird burst of anger towards him. I parked and got out grabbing my stuff. A line of teenagers followed behind me and in the store. Being here with the wildest of boys was bound to have us kicked out.

We walked around and for the most part they were calm. We strolled down aisles grabbing and picking food and snacks off the shelves occasionally throwing bags of marshmellows at each other for fun.

We recived ugly looks from old white people and smiles from young teen girls. Actrually I think those smiles were for the boys, not as much for Mary and I. We finally made it to check out with a cart full of junk food.

The total came out to about 80 bucks. I pulled out my wallet and grabbed my card not wanting to go through the wad of cash in my pocket. "Jane!" Dee whispered. I turned back and saw him with puppy eyes and candy in his hand. I sighed. "Hurry up!" I waved my hands. He threw his candy down along with Andrew and Mary adding to the pile.

"Are you guys done?" I asked recieving childish nods. I giggled and rolled my eyes turning to the cashier. He chuckled and finished up giving me a glance of his hazel eyes. I blushed just cause he was cute.

"Ok here you go, have a great night." He winked. "Thank you." I smiled and pushed the cart out of the way. Mary ran up to me and nudged my side. "Stop flirting with other guys. Bobby is going through the feels right now, look." She said moving her eyes to behind us.

I looked over my shoulder to the boys. They were laughing at something on Andew's phone. "He looks fine to me." I shrugged and stopped just before my car. I made Dee and Andrew load the car while Mary and I sat in the a/c.

As for Bobby, I think he disappeared somewhere in Andrew's car. Everyone was in and I looked in the mirror to check my face for no apparent reason. "You look gorgeous ok, can we go?" Dee said from the backseat.

I didn't question him. I switched into reverse and backed out. Bobby was right behind us the whole way. I kinda felt bad that he didn't have anyone to ride with but at the same time I didn't care. The music had me feeling hype, I reached and turned it up making the car mirrors shake and the boys screm louder.

"Ok guys, don't make a mess and sit at the table." I hollered across the house setting the food down on the table. Everyone sat in their spots as I set the plates in front of them. Bobby happened to be the last person I served.

I set it down in front of him and he thanked me quietly. You could tell there was tension in the room but i ignored it and sat down with my plate next to Andrew.

"Oh, shit. Does anyone want anything to drink?" I got up and scrurried to the fridge that was now full of food and drinks. Everyone requested a drink as I pulled them out of the fridge and set them on the counter. I handed everyone their can of soda, all of them thanking me one by one.

I sat back down with a can of tea watching everyone pull out their phones. If i leaned anything from my mother its that there are no phones at the table. "Put your phones away, no phones at the table." I said softly chewing on my food.

"Aww c'mon Jane." Dee whined. "Dude just put your phone away." Bobby chimed in. I made eye contact with him and then moved my eyes to my food. Dee sighed and shoved his phone away in his pocket.

The rest of dinner consisted of off and on laughter and silence. I got up and cleaned up everyones mess as they all cleared to the living room. Mary helped since this was her place too and for that reason we finished up quickly.
