I do not own Teen Wolf.
    Obviously.

Stiles and I have been running in the direction Scott ran for a while now. Okay, it's only been like 5 minutes, but I don't like running.

"What is that?" I asked Stiles pointing to cave like thing.

"I think it's a coyote den." He answered, walking towards it.

"Wait, what if there's something in there? Let's just find Scott, then go in." I said, pulling him back.

"Fine, come on." He sighed as we continued running.

"Wait, do you hear that?" Stiles asked. I was about to say no when I heard the crunching of leaves and snapping of sticks. "Come on! It's probably Scott!" Stiles exclaimed, grabbing my hand and running.

"But what if it's not!" I shouted, but he ignored me. "If I die, I'm coming back to haunt your ass." I mumbled. We ran in the direction that we thought the sound came from.

"Ah!" Stiles screamed as we ran into to something, well, someone. I looked up and rolled my eyes as I saw Scott standing there. "Oh." Stiles breathed, realizing he ran into Scott. "I think we found something."

"So did I." Scott said. He explained to us that he found Malia, but she was a were-coyote.

"Oh god, what's next? A were-horse?" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air. Stiles and Scott just laughed at me as we walked to the coyote den.

"Here it is. It's a coyote den." Stiles said, crawling in.

"Were-coyote." Scott corrected him, climbing in after him.

"Guys, we really shouldn't be in here." I said, crawling in after them.

"You see this?" Stiles asked holding up a coat. "This is Malia's. Remember, it's the same one she was wearing in the photo." Scott looked at it before looking around some more. He picked up a teddy bear off of the ground before dropping it.

"We shouldn't be in here." Scott said quickly.

  "Thank you!" I exclaimed.

"What do you mean?" Stiles asked him.

"Well she's not gonna come back now, we just invaded her home. Our scent's gonna be everywhere." Scott answered.

"Well if she's not gonna come back here, where's she gonna go?" I asked him.

"I don't know." Scott answered honestly.

"Well, can you track her now? You think you got her scent?" Stiles asked.

"Maybe. But I'm better at this when I'm a full wolf. And I'm still worried that if I do it, I won't be able to turn back." Scott sighed.

"The door's still open." Stiles said, sighing.

"If I can't get to Derek, we're gonna have to find someone else to help. This is basically a crime scene, right? I think it might be a little out of my boss' league." Scott told us.

"And more in my dad's." Stiles said, Scott nodding in response. Stiles sighed and pulled his phone from his pocket, calling his dad and telling him where to meet us.

   ~

"You sure it was her?" Sheriff asked us.

"I looked her right in the eyes. And they glowed just like mine." Scott told him.

"It makes sense dad." Stiles said.

"But it wasn't a girl, it was a four legged coyote, right?" Sheriff asked.

"Well, okay. But yeah, see, that's the point that we don't exactly have figured out yet." Stiles explained.

"Okay, but if it was a full moon and she did change while her mom was driving, then anything could've happened, right?" Scott asked him.

"Horrible things could've happened. Ripping, shredding, tearing things." Stiles said, doing some weird hand motion.

"Which is probably what caused the accident." I said.

"Think about it, Dad, alright. They're driving, Malia starts to change, she goes out of control, the mom crashes and everybody dies." Stiles explained.

"Except Malia." Scott adds.

"She blames herself, right? Goes off running into the woods and eventually becomes trapped inside the body of a coyote." Stiles finished.

"That makes sense." Sheriff nodded as we all let out a breath of relief. "Ina Chinese folktale! Guys, this is- this is insane. I need this kept quiet. The three of you, not a word. I don't want anyone hearing about this. I especially don't want Mr. Tate to hear about this." Sheriff said. "Scott?" He called as Scott kind of zoned out. "Scott."

"Sorry. What did you say?" Scott asked just as another cop car pulled up.

"Ah hell." Sheriff muttered as Mr. Tate and Agent McCall got out of the car. "Mr. Tate." Sheriff greeted. Mr. Tate walked forward, looking at the jacket in Sheriff's hand.

  "It's hers." Mr. Tate said.

"Alright, wait here." Agent McCall said, starting to walk away.

  "Dad-"

"I'll talk to you in a minute. I wouldn't mind hearing how your moms okay with you running around in the woods this late." Agent McCall said, walking away from us. I may have held up a not so nice finger while his back was to us. Oh well.

I know this chapter isn't long and I'm sorry. But, I am writing the next chapter! I'm sorry for the long wait. Please comment what you thought and comment some questions so I can write my Q&A chapter.
