Disappearing

Emily's POV

I can hear steps walking inside the room. I instantly open my eyes to see a guard, with a little light coming to us. It must be the time fir Alison to wake up. I don't close my eyes, if it's that stupid guard again want to face him if he says something. He gets closer and closer and then goes on his knees.

"Alison, you have to wake up" Says a voice I heard before, Caleb.

"Caleb?" I dare to ask, I'm sure it's him.

"Hello" He says with a friendly voice, like always. "I asked for this little work, I knew you were going to be here" He says with a little laugh. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna say anything" He says going to back to Alison, she's still asleep. "Alison, c'mon, you're gonna be late" He says again.

"I'm going" Says Alison sitting on the bed, still with her eyes closed.

"C'mon Ali" I say taking some hair away from her face.

She nods and stands up. I stay on the bed, looking at her, she's still sleepy but I can see how nervous she is about this. She takes her shower things and then looks at me.

"Come here" I say opening my arms.

She gets closer and hugs me, so hard. I kiss her cheek, still hugging her, feeling he warm body against mine.

"Everything is gonna go perfectly, you'll see" I say low "Don't worry okay' I'll be here waiting for you" I say pulling away.

"Okay" She says with a nervous smile, but looking at me.

I cup her face and I kiss her, gentle and fast. Then, still cupping her face, I stare directly at her blue eyes.

"I love you" I tell her, for the million time this week, but still feeling it like the first time.

"I love you too" She says not taking away her look from my eyes.

She gives me another fast kiss and then she stands up. Going next to Caleb.

"Go to the bathroom, there's a guard there, he knows he can let you in, I'll be there in a second" He tells her, with his usual nice voice.

She just nods and walks away. I see her disappearing from our room. I wish I could go there just to give her some support, to calm her and just... be able to have more time with her. Caleb turns to look at me, now with a serious face.

"Can I ask you to do something?" He says shy.

"Sure" I say standing up to be face him.

"Please stay with Hanna today, don't let those monsters touch her" He says worried. "I'm gonna go with Alison to the trial, I'm one of her guard today. I'll keep her safe" He adds.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of her" I say, so serious, because it's true.

I understand his frustration, we both love someone that it's in constant danger inside of this walls. I know that feeling he has on his eyes, I feel it every day, fear.

"Thank you so much" He says getting closer.

He came here so the ugly stupid fat wouldn't fins me on Alison's bed, and he's going with Alison to the trial and he's gonna take care of her. He's a friend for me. I get closer too and I hug him. He hugs me back.

"Thanks to you" I say, still hugging him.

"We're gonna get those assholes, I'll do it. They are not gonna hurt you anymore" He says with anger.

I pull away to face him. He looks so angry, so angry. I make a little a smile and he looks at me.

"We got this, we're gonna keep them safe" I say trying to calm him.
