*Authour's Note: This is set a lot further on in the future, it just makes things more up to date and makes Jake's age easier to work with.*

A long time had passed since mine and Ronnie's engagement, but today was the day we would be married. It was amazing how good things had been. Jake was now all grown up - 18 years old - and I couldn't be more proud that he'd made it through school and done so well. Then there was the band, who were doing more and more incredible things as time went on - and then there was Ronnie, the love of my entire life and the man who had become an amazing dad to Jake.

I took one last look in the mirror at my hair and make-up, I had to say even after all this time it still hadn't sunk in that this was the day my son would walk me down the isle and I would actually get married. I smiled to myself before hearing a slight knock on the door.

"Come in." I spoke, just as the door opened to reveal my son, looking so handsome and grown up in his suit. "Jakey you look amazing." He shook his head and sat beside me.

"No mom, it's you that looks amazing - if Ronnie doesn't cry when you walk down that isle then we're going back to the other end and trying again." I just looked at him and chuckled to myself. "Now are you ready to go? The car's waiting downstairs." I took a deep breath and nodded before heading downstairs.

We eventually pulled up outside the church and I checked the time, I was five minutes early. As I stepped out the car there was someone from the church waiting to tell me to wait until they called me, which I expected.

"Is it alright if I have a smoke before I go in?" I asked her. She chuckled to herself.

"Of course it is, just don't end up burning a hole through your dress or anything."

So there I stood for five minutes with Jake, smoking my cigarette and waiting for the woman to come back out and get me. I had to admit I was so nervous, especially since I didn't have any family here except my mother, and only had a few friends, whereas Ronnie had most of his family, and there were quite a few bands there that Ronnie and I both got along with, but he was far closer to. I was suddenly snapped out of thinking by the woman I had spoken to earlier, who beckoned me to go inside so that the wedding could start.

I stood at the giant doors waiting for them to open. I felt Jakey link my arm and took a deep breath to steady my nerves about the whole 'everyone watching me' kind of thing. The doors finally opened and I finally saw him, my gorgeous soon-to-be husband grinning like an idiot as I started to walk towards him, and then noticed he was actually crying. I nudged Jake to look and he chuckled to himself.

"Well mom, at least we don't have to go back and do the walk again." I laughed to myself before finally getting to Ronnie.

"You look really beautiful." I blushed as he kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear.

After what seemed like an eternity of church-y babble, it was finally at the last part. Within the next few minutes, I would actually be married to the love of my life. I looked over to where Jake and my mom where sat and they were both crying.

"So," the priest spoke up. "Ronald Joseph Radke, do you take Jade Kasey Atkinson to be your lawfully wedded wife?" I looked at the big stupid grin on his face.

"I do."

"And do you, Jade Kasey Atkinson, take Ronald Joseph Radke to be your lawfully wedded husband?" I could feel myself grinning.

"I do."

"You may now kiss the bride."

And then Ronnie kissed me, and we were actually officially married. The whole place cheered as we made our way outside before being congratulated by everyone that had come. I was officially a Radke, and that felt amazing, plus Jake had previously changed his name to be the same as Ronnie's so that wasn't any hassle.
