Joy Anna's p.o.v.
I woke up to the smell of pancakes and smiled. Then I remembered that I was suspended and my smile wavered a little. It's only for 3 days though. Only 3 days! What if momma heard about this?! I stopped right in the middle of my thought. Momma. I wonder where she is. She never did tell us did she?
I need to Skype Jessa. She said that she would look up those two men. They're probably nobodies but I don't want to take any chances. That sounded so cliché! Well not really. Technically it didn't sound like anything because I didn't actually say it out loud. Joy stop getting off track!
"Joy are you alive?!" I heard John ask as he knocked on my door loudly.
"Yeah sorry I was just ummmm thinking." I said.
"I was knocking on your door for 5 minutes..." He replied. "What were you thinking about?"
"Ummm about how I'm suspended." I lied.
Aurghhhh what is with me and lying?! Well it's not really a lie because I WAS thinking about that... Just not the whole time.
He gave me a disbelieving look.
"Okay... I just came to ask you of you wanted breakfast." He said.
I nodded. "Sure!" I replied.
"Well then come on!" He urged. "We're hungry!" He said with puppy dog eyes. I laughed.
"I'll be there in a minute you weirdo." I smiled.
"You better because if you don't than Jackson and I will eat them all!" John threatened.
"I'm coming I'm coming!" I laughed.
We sat down at the table and said a prayer before eating the delicious pancakes which were still warm.
"What do you want to do today guys?" John asked.
"Are we going to go somewhere fun?!" Jackson exclaimed.
"If you tell me where you want to go." John responded with a sly grin which slightly scared me.
"Can we go to sky zone?!" I asked excitedly.
"Isn't that like a trampoline place?" John said skeptically.
"Yeah but it's really safe and really fun! Please!!!" I begged.
"1. Wouldn't that be hard in a skirt? 2. How would you know if it's fun it not? You've never been there. 3..." He started.
"Okay okay!" I interrupted. "We can do something else." I compromised.
"Can we go rock climbing?!" Jackson said with a weird amount of enthusiasm.
"I think that's expensive. Sorry Jackson." John said apologetically as Jackson's face dropped.
"We don't have to do something dangerous. We can go to the pool or something." John suggested.
"Yes!" Me and Jackson said in unison.
John got out his phone and looked something up. "The nearest pool is 10 minutes away and it's only 5 dollars! Lets go!" John exclaimed as we all cheered.
Then I remembered something. "Uhh John... I don't have a swimming suit." I said quietly while looking down.
"Oh... Maybe the previous owner of the house left a swimming suit." He suggested.
I rummaged through the drawers and found one swimming suit and looked at it in disgust. It was a bikini. Now I'm stuck. I have to go to the pool because John won't leave me home alone and I have to wear a swimming suit because apparently it's the pools rules.
I don't want to but I have to wear it because its the only swimming suit that's there. Well there probably won't be anyone else there since its a school day today. I hesitantly put it on and put on a cover up over it.
I ran back to John and gave him a thumbs up. We got into the car and got to the swimming pool. I let out a sigh of relief as I saw that there weren't any people there.
"Come on Joy! Aren't you coming?" John asked. I nodded and followed him. Right as we got in there Jackson and John jumped in the pool and started splashing.
"Come on Joy!" John urged. I nervously started taking off my cover up. Their backs were turned as I finished taking it off. I jumped in the pool and John immediately playfully tackled me.
Suddenly he stopped and looked at me in horror. "What are you wearing Joy?!" He exclaimed.
He'd never seen me in anything near this skimpy ever.
"This was the only thing I could find." I murmured, embarrassed.
"Well there's no one else here. Sooo..."Jackson suggested.
We swam for a little longer before John suggested that we leave because someone else could come.
"Just 5 more minutes. Please!" Jackson begged.
"Fine." John reluctantly agreed.
So we swam for about 3 more minutes until we heard someone entering. I hurriedly got out and got my cover up on. My eyes widened in horror as I saw who walked through the door.
"Danielle?" I whispered.
She turned and smirked. "Oh hi loser, having fun on suspension?" She asked with fake sweetness.
I ignored her. "Oh I wanna see your loser swimming suit. I've seen it on T.V. before. Lets see if its improved." She said waving her hand.
"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" I asked.
She looked at me in disgust and walked over. "Don't. Ever. Stand. Up. To. Me. Again." She ordered.
I looked away. She tore off my cover up and stared at my swimming suit in confusion.
"I thought you were all that ' Christian crap'." She said making air quotes with my fingers.
"It's not crap." I whispered.
But I didn't really want to say anything else. So I walked away with her staring at my red polka dotted bikini the whole time.
Once we got outside of the pool I started crying. John hugged me but nothing helped.
We got into the car and drove home. Funny how I think of it as home now. Once we got inside I ran into my room and laid down crying. I eventually drifted off to sleep that away.

I know this is crap but a tornado went through my neighborhood and tore out trees and jacked up the power lines and a pole cracked in half and fell on it in ours/our neighbors yard.
Sooo I don't have electricity and I won't for a while. I'm at my cousins house right now :) just saying. So I threw this together when I realized I had wifi lol sooo ya ttyl.
