A Fateful Reuion

When we reached the first class section, I looked in the window and saw my mom, I missed my family so much I couldn't stand it I released Chuckie's hand and ran in. When my mom saw me she started to cry, it broke my heart and I ran right to her and gave her a big hug. My dad was still in a daze from what had just transpired in front of him. I released my mom and hugged my dad not as much as my mom but still a hug none the less. When I looked up from hugging my father, who is now in a wheelchair I'm guessing for the time being, I saw the Finsters and the Thornberrys smiling .

"Elza long time no see, you too Donnie," I said when I saw Elza and Donnie sitting next to each other. Donnie still being the partially wild child he was, he sees this as an opportunity to attack and lick me on the face. I still can't believe we are actually friends with these goof balls but I wouldn't change it any other way.

"Donnie, down and yes same here Tommy, I don't think I've seen you and your clan since you were in middle school, I'm glad we kept in touch after the incident back when you guys were babies, you guys have grown up so much. The thing of it is, when we came across your family we were about to post at an abandoned Island and that's when we saw them," Elza pointed out.

"Hi Tommy!" Says Donnie which surprised me a lot knowing the last time I talked to Donnie he still didn't speak a lick of English.

"Thank you so much for finding them Elza, and yes I know its been a long time since I've seen you guys, actually I wanted to talk to you all together, which I can't find just the right wording for it except,..." I got interrupted by Chuckie.

"Tommy and I are together, as a couple," he finished my sentence.

After the ball had been dropped my mom fainted and my dad smiled. I looked at the Finsters and noticed them smiling, too. Elza and Donnie patted us on the back and congratulated us. I'm guessing it wasn't such a bad idea to tell them now than later. We walked to the exit when we got attacked by reporters asking about the Thornberrys. We ended up having security chase them off along with Darwin. It ended up being really funny, a couple of reporters tripped, one almost got arrested, and Darwin well he took the best approach by using a taxi cart and chased them off with Donnie joining in.

"You guys are still as goofy as ever," Phil joined in and started to laugh.

"Guys shouldn't we talk to them about the housing situation?" Kimi said before she ran to the trash can a ways away from the group.

"Big sis how are you?" Kiki said running up to Kimi with Kira in hand.

"Yeah just a little food poisoning," she said reassuring the two when Phil ran up to her and walked with her.

"Okay big sis Kimi!" She said hugging Kimi and ran up to Donnie who actually had a liking to Kiki.

When we got to the vehicles including the Thornberry's van, we split into our groups. Phil and Kimi were in my car, Dil and Lil were in the van with all the luggage, while the rest of us go into the Thornberry's van. Once we were on the road we started to talk.

"So I hear it when you were baby you were my biggest fan," Nigel said to me.

"Yes, I was, I still love your work to this day, I do my own adventures on a more domestic venture," I smiled.

"So Donnie and Eliza got married a few years back? How is that doing?" Chuckie asked.

"Yeah it's going good, still trying to show him things, but he is slowly turning into Tarzan instead of Donnie the wild boy," Eliza joked, looking at Donnie.

"I don't want to know," I said then everyone broke out in laughter.

"So Chuckie and you got together?" Marrianne asked.

"Uh, yes, it happened about six months ago right after our families left, it's a very long story," I answered.

"Well, it's looking like we will be here for a while as you may not know, if you didn't get what Eliza was hinting to earlier, Eliza is pregnant just about a month or two, and she was thinking about starting her family on the U.S. soil," Marrianne explained sending almost everyone in the vehicle in shock except a few of them.

"That brings us to another story, but we rather wait until we get back to the Finster household," I added.

"So we are going to our house?" Charles asked.

"Yes sir, we were all hoping to talk to everyone over there," I said to Charles.

The rest of the way we continued to talk about random stories about the Thornberrys and what happened to our families during the cruise. Kiki fell asleep on Darwin's lap and Darwin also fell asleep. Dad showed us his new scars, mom wouldn't let go of me, which was driving me insane. We told them the in about two weeks we will graduating in top of our class, the whole group. We also explained Fefe had passes about about two weeks ago in her sleep, Charles and Kira got upset at this but at least she didn't suffer. We also started to plead our case about the house with out telling them what was going on. Charles made a point he had been thinking about adding on to that house at some point. This made me turn to Chuckie and smile. My mom was about to suffocate me if it wasn't my dad pulling her over and hugging her. After about 60 minutes being stuck in traffic we reached the Finster's house where we were greeted by the Devilles, my aunt and uncle with Angelica, Susie, and the rest of the neighborhood.

"Welcome back you all and nice to see you Thornberrys again," the Devilles helped us get my dad out of the vehicle, "We just came by for a few to help you guys."

"Thank you guys but I don't think we will be getting our luggage out for now, for now I think everyone is hungry," My mom announced.

"Don't worry mom we had a plan, we just have to get to the back yard," I said pushing dad through the house.

Once we got to the back everyone was surprised to see picnic tables out and what looked like a party was our set up for them that night, I pushed my dad into a table so he was comfortable and ran back in the house. Chuckie brought everyone else to the back yard while I started prepping for dinner. I got the steaks out that had been marinating for the last day, cut up some mushrooms, peppers, pineapples, pulled the rolls from the pantry and started the oven and placed them in there, got started on the macaroni and cheese on the stove, along with some artichoke and spinach dip, I pulled out some onions and wrapped in foil with olive oil, butter, and seasoning, by the time I had this done Chuckie had the charcoal ready for the steaks, and for the cast iron skillet for the vegetables. We were going to have huge feast tonight. The rest of the group helped clean up and cook everything except for Kimi who was talking to Eliza.
