The Feast!

We finished around 3pm with supper and oh did it look delicious.

"My goodness guys, Thank you, you all have been caring for yourselves well fully," Mom said digging into the food.

"Tommy you must have spent a fortune for all of this," Nigel noted.

"Actually since we've been taking care of ourselves since our parents disappeared we learned how to save money, cook without burning anything, and keep up after ourselves, it wasn't so hard," Tommy confessed.

"That's wonderful you all have grown up since our disappearance, but I must ask what has happened at our home?" Dad asked.

"Well, it's been under our care, we have been keeping the lawn and garden up to standards, the house every few days we would go and clean the inside, and don't worry about food spoiling, we took all what we had in the fridge and freezer, and brought it here so it didn't go to waste, so this last week before you guys got back we stocked it back up with fresh foods," Dil said popping out of nowhere.

"Can you all give us a few minutes to talk something's over, Eliza, Donnie, and Kiki you go too," Charles said with a gleam in his eye.

The whole lot of us went in to the house, Kimi automatically ran to the bathroom with Pregnant Eliza trying to catch up to help her. Dil and Lil walked to the living room and cuddled on the couch, while Phil and Donnie went to check on the girls Darwin and Kiki went to Kimi's room and went to sleep, all the while Chuckie and I wondered into our room.

"I wonder if they are think about letting us keep the house," I said slightly joyfully.

"I don't know honestly maybe they have another plan for us," Chuckie said pushing me down on the bed.

"You know what ever the plan is, as long as I'm with you I'm happy," I said smiling and Chuckie gently pressing his lips against mine while I close my eyes and wrap my arms around his neck.

We stayed like this for what felt like hours not going further than kissing, when Dil came up to the door and knocked.

"Yes," Chuckie answered.

"Everyone, is gathering in the living room, that mean you two too," Dil instructed us.

We got up and walked down stairs, every one of the adults were waiting for us in the living room so everyone except Darwin and Kiki was in there.

"So after much consideration we have come to conclusion and also with the input of the Thornberrys after you guys graduate from school, we will be buying a house for the lot of you, it seems we brought up great responsible adults, and because the Thornberrys are putting in we are going to get a big house for you all." Mom stood up and explained.

"Actually the house we have in mind is down the street, it's got a finish basement, a pool, 6 bedrooms, 7 1/2 baths, a huge kitchen with a dining room and nook, and a substantial sized living area, and there is room to add on if need be," Nigel Thornberry smiled after he explained what the house looked like.

"Are you talking about the old Rider's Mansion?" Dil asked.

"Yes Dillon," dad said.

Everyone except the adults gasped at this revelation. We all ran up to our parents, which included Phil and Lil. A house of our own to which we can build on if we need. A home to call our own, this caused me to smile. I was became so over emotional and started to cry. Once this started Chuckie came up to me while I was hugging my mother and started to rub my back. I got up from hugging my mother turned to him, I basically put my face in his chest still crying. He started to gently run his fingers through my hair until I calmed down, I looked up to see him smiling and pulled me in tighter. I instantaneously put my arms around him.

"There is one condition though," dad stated.

"For the first few months, you guys must be applying for school and working, not counting Eliza or Donnie, counting she's pregnant right now and well Donnie is still not ready to be around a lot of people or even get a job," Mrs. Finster added.

"Yes, that's actually a good idea," Lil spoke up.

We all huddled into a group and hugged, but then we remembered Angelica. She was going to have to live with us.

"I almost forgot to tell you guys, Angelica is suppose to move in with us per uncle stu request," Dil announced annoyed.

"Yeah apparently she's getting out of control, and doesn't know how to take care of herself," Lil snapped.

"Well I guess that's an interesting development," Stu addressed. "Well there is a detached pool house, for you to do with as you please."

After our conversation and discussion over the house, we came to the conclusion that we are going to add on since the land that the house is on is quite large. Eliza and Donnie will have their own little house with three bedrooms and two baths, Chuckie, Dil, Lil, and I will get the main manor. Kimi and Phil get their own little house just like the Thornberry's. Finally Angelica will have the pool house, but she has to pay us and more to stay there. We have everything planned out.

"Tommy sweetheart you know we love you so please be careful," Mom said hugging me.

"Mom please you don't need to be so over bearing I'm not a child anymore, just remember I am already in line for a scholarship for the film college here in town. I will make you and dad proud, and pay you guys back for everything," I said holding my mom in my arm while I felt her cry into my shoulder.

"If you don't mind us saying I would say try working on getting the house now so we can get working on the add-ons as soon as possible, it's not like I'm saying we are going to move in as soon as possible, but building two detached houses for Donnie and I, Kimi and Phil, is going to take time and money, getting permits and people to build the houses I don't want to be put in the middle of doing that," Eliza stated.

"I mean she has a point," Uncle Drew said walking through the front door.

"Brother!" My dad yelled happily.

"Hey little bro," Uncle Drew said hugging dad.

"I heard from a little birdie that my family is back on dry land," Uncle said looking at Dil.

"Just got back today, nice to see you again and two I have to agree with Eliza," Dad nodded.

I looked at my Uncle who was smiling, most likely Uncle Drew and Aunt Charlotte will be helping out now. I then noticed another person show up. It was our old friend Susie Carmichael, she also is in college but to become a doctor.

"Tommy, Chuckie! What's going here? There is a party and no one told me," Susie smiled.

"Actually I'll explain later, nice to see you again," Chuckie said as she pretty much squeezed the life out of him.

"Hey it's Eliza what's up girl, long time no see," She waved at Eliza.

Eliza just waved back, I'm guessing they have been in contact like we have. We explained our plans for what was about to go down, Susie suggested that she moved into after talking with her parents and matter of fact she said she would put some money down for the mansion also we just smiled, this house was just going to be filled with our friends.

"I think we should rename the mansion," Mom suggested releasing me.

"I know the perfect name too, The Rugrats Mansion," Susie stated making everyone laugh then nodded in agreement.

"That's Perfect!" Mrs. Finster smiled hugging both Chuckie and Kimi.
