Staring at the most beautiful woman beside me, I can’t help but to think that I must be really a lucky man. Look at her. My queen looks stunning. I want to be mad to those other men who looks at her but how can I? Her eyes were only darted at me. Let them be jealous. The woman right here is mine.

I stood up and faced her. I smiled. “May I dance with my queen?” I asked as I offer my hand.

It didn’t took a second for her to smile back and accepted.

“Anong nakain mo at nagyaya kang mag sayaw?” tanong niya habang nag lalakad kami patungo sa gitna. Ang daming nakasunod ng tingin sa amin.

“I just want to dance with you. We can’t just sit there all night, can we?” I replied.

“Right.” She said while shaking her head.

Napatawa naman ako sa reaksyon niya at marahang pinisil ang kamay nito. Hindi naman mukang napipilitan lang siya. Kahit kailan, tamad talaga siya sa ganitong bagay. Tuwing may laban lang talaga siya buhay na buhay.

I looked straight into her eyes as we stop. She wrapped her arms around my nape while I gently wrapped mine in her waist and pulled her closer. We both let out a smile before we started moving to a slow song.

“Chase...” she called as we sway.

“Yes?”

She actually doesn’t need calling me. My attention was all hers anyways.

Bahagya siyang napayuko. Medyo madilim man ngunit hindi parin nakatakas sa paningin ko kung paano mamula ang mga pisngi niya. Kumunot ang noo ko. That’s cute.

“About what happened last night…” she started.

Oh, now I know why she’s blushing. That’s even cuter.

I chuckled. “Hey, look at me.” I said, trying to catch her eyes.

Umiling naman siya at patuloy na iniiwasan ang tingin ko. Muli akong natawa ng mahina. Last night she was wild and all, but look at her now. Where did the wild queen go?

“C’mon, look at me.” I held her chin so she I could catch her eyes. She keeps moving her head. Akala niya ba hindi ko mapapansin ang pamumula niya kapag patuloy niyang ginawa ‘yon? Nah, even with a foundation, her cheeks are redder now than earlier.

“Queen, look at my eyes. Let me see those mysterious eyes of yours.”

Doon naman siya natigilan at kunot-noong napatingin sa akin. Finally, our eyes met.

Her eyes are so beautiful. Those eyes were the reason why she got my attention. It’s cold and full of mystery, but for some reason when I look at her, I just found my self staring and drowning in her eyes. I love how the way she look at me.

“Why are you suddenly being shy?” I asked. Teasing her.

“What shy? Who’s shy?!” Her defense.

I chuckled. “Cutie, look at my eyes.” Nanlaki naman ang mga mata niya sa tawag ko. “About what happened between us last night, don’t think too much about it. I don’t regret it especially it’s with you, so don’t be awkward.” I said. Hindi pa yata siya maka get over. “Why? Gusto mo ba ng part two?” asar ko.

Lalo naman nalaki ang mga mata niya at hinampas ako sa dibdib. “Chase! Huwag ka nga!” namumulang sita niya.

Natawa tuloy ako.
