"Mum, how's your high school days?" I asked her while slowly cutting my steak.
"Well it's all good." She answered
"Did you have any... You know" I asked
"What do you mean?" She cocked her eyebrow
"I mean," I cleared my throat, "you know, crushes?"
"Yeah." She smiled and scooped a rice to her spoon and shoved it to her mouth.
She's answering me with short answers. Ugh.
"Do you experienced how to have a high school crush?" I bit my lip, boom. You're obvious, Jade.
"Everyone does, how's yours?" She chuckled.
"Everyone in the classroom knew, I want to absent tomorrow." I sighed.
"It's okay, just act nothing happened. Don't be affected, everyone will insult you more if you did. If they will tease you, just say to them atleast you're normal, human with a heart." She advised
"Oh, okay." I said and put my plate to the sink.
"You'll be the one who'll wash the dishes tonight, okay? I'm going to take care of your brother." Mum ordered and I started to wash the dishes.
"When I was younger I saw my daddy cry and cursed at the wind." I sang while I wash the dishes.
"He broke his own heart and I watched he tried to reassemble it. And my momma swore that she will never let herself forget."
When I was done washing the dishes, I grabbed a clean dry cloth and dry the dishes.
"But darling you are the only exception. You are the only exception, you are the only exception, you are the only exception."
I went to my Mum's door and knocked.
"Mum, I'm done washing the dishes. I'm on my room." I yelled through her door and proceed to my room.
I grabbed my phone and started reading some EBook.
After reading like twenty chapters, I decided to put my phone down of my hands and go to sleep.
I faced the wall to my side and turned over again to the side, having a hard time finding comfortable position to sleep.
I decided to face the ceiling and forced myself to sleep. In the middle of concentration, I find myself making illusions.
"You're cute." He smiled.
I saw his dimples deepen because of his smile shimmering.
I chuckled and buried my face onto his shoulders, sniffing his scent. I hugged him and caressed his hair playing with his curls at the end of his hair.
"You do obsessed with my hair huh?" He grinned, I chuckled.
I brushed my nose to his and closed my eyes.
"I wish this will last forever." I whisper.
"We'll try Jade, we'll try." He whispered back.
Then I fell alseep.
