Kaneki Ken.「Chapter Five」

I now remember..the events that have taken place before in my past life...If i can re call it had went a bit like this:

On a rainy day i had gotten a note from someone that was written in blood,already i was creeped out but i went to the place that i was supposed to meet this person.It was the place where me and Kaneki had first met,it didn't help that i was not wearing suitable clothing for a cold day and i didn't bring an umbrella after the rain had suddenly stopped.It was named a 'cloud burst?',i waited for minutes and nearly an hour.I was going to go back home when i saw someone from the other end of the street,strangely no one was around.The figure waved at me and went into an alley way,thinking that it was the person i was supposed to be meeting i foolishly went after them.I turned the corner and was knocked out right there,i felt my self being dragged across the floor,i could barely see as my vision became nothing but a blur.I could just see red liquid seeping from my clothes staining them and the puddles of rain on the cold floor.I was dropped down onto the damp floor,i struggled to get up when my hair was pulled harshly.It hurt badly not to mention the wound that was now opening up and revealing the slashed flesh underneath my clothes.

I could just about see who was about to kill me,this person seemed very familiar..white hair...one kakugan...and one dull grey eye...black clothing and a terrifying mask that i had seen anywhere before...I knew who this was,all along this man wanted to eat me?What did i ever deserve to end up like this?Just before i could call out his name i had already lost enough blood,my hand fell limp into a puddle.I could just about see his eyes turn back to normal as he stared at his own hands looking back at me.I put on a faint smile as i felt my nerves sagging and the pain numbing.I could just about say his name with all the strength that i had left..the man who had killed me..murdered me with his own hands..once a human but now no anymore after what he and done to his own friend this was the end of my life...At the age of only 19 years old dying in such a shabby place..in the hands of the one who i had thought cared for me..the one of the name,

Kaneki Ken.

Kaneki wasn't the same as he was before he was put through so much,i remembered him telling me how excited he was to go on a date with this women he had met at a cafe.I was heart-broken to hear that he was going on a date with someone else other than me,i ignored my feelings and told him how happy i was for him.He had found someone who had potential to become his loving girlfriend or so we both thought.After,his date with that women who i think was called Rize,he started to act strange i hadn't got a call from him in ages and thought that he amy have been ignoring me.I tried calling him one or twice a week but there was no reply on the phone r he just wouldn't pick up the phone or return my calls.It went on for a couple of days when i found out that he had now became a ghoul,we became more parted ever since then i couldn't even remember what he looked like,i didn't know if he was ever injured or had changed..I was given no information about him so in order to learn more i started to research about ghouls and concentrate more about them.

Most of the books i had read were about how dangerous and evil ghouls were,i couldn't base my opinion on a biased opinion on ghouls so i went tot Anteiku,i was acquainted with Touka,Hinami and the manager already so i knew that they were probably the best people i could talk to.I extracted more information from them and did more research about them over many sleepless nights.Then,there was that particular day.Touka had called me over at Anteiku to talk,

she had told me about what happened to Kaneki and how he looked now,i was shocked at first but then excepted that this was what had become of the person i had hidden feelings for.I spent most of my time with the people at Anteiku when i noticed that i had been getting strands of white hair growing from the roots of my head.I then began to notice the colour of my nails turning black,i had completely cut any contacts with everyone.I locked myself inside the house and refused to leave the house even for food.I nearly starved myself when Kaneki had paid me a visit,he told me how dull my eyes were now and also that we both had no reason to see each other anymore.I regreted shouting at him,telling him to get out and repeatedly punching him afterremebering how much he had went through..

"(NAME)...it's best if we don't see each other,i will end up hurting you and i don't want that."

"Kaneki...Why..?"

"I'm sorry (NAME)"

"Why...WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?!"

"(NAME) wai-"I cut him off as i punched him.

"DON'T JUST COME HERRE TO SAY THAT TO ME!DO YOU KNOW HOW I HAVE FELT?!WHY,WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME HERE ALONE?!Why.."I stopped punching him as he laid on the ground watching my tears roll down my cheeks.

"Why...do you hate me?"We were both silent,i got up and faced away from him whispering.

"If you are willing to leave me so suddenly...then go ahead."

"...I'm sorry (NAME) Plea-"I turned back and shouted becoming vexed.

"JUST GET OUT!"

None the less,i just hope that this all may just be a dream....

What is the truth of my existence anyway?
