Khianna's P.O.V
I groaned as soon as this horrid sound reached my ears.
"Tyra-Skye Khiana Cheyenne Montgomery-Taylor!!!"
"I'm awake, i'm up I promise. There is no need for the full name threats puhleaseee !!!"
"You better be or I am gonna come up there and you are not gonna like it!"
My bestfriend screeched from the banister of the stairs.
Rolling off my bed, taking a moment to rub my sore head.
Note to self: don't, I repeat don't roll off bed unprotected. I'm talking bulletproof vest n pillow patrol.
"Are you dressed yet?!"
I shielded my ears as another screech travelled up the stairs.
"Yes, yes don't get yo barely there panties in a twist!"
I shouted back when seconds later my brother Jackson popped in saying "now wouldn't you like that "
"Get OUT !!!" I shrieked kicking him out smirkface and all.
Finally dressed I raced down the stairs, ran into the kitchen grabbed a plate of bacon n egg with cheese toasties, drained my glass of orange juice and plopped in the car.
Emma slid into the driver seat horning for my brother to hurry.
Driving off as soon as he reached for the door and coming back at my protests of
"Pervert or not, mom will have my ass if we leave him to walk"
He hopped in snarky remarks at the ready "Nice to see you came back for me Ms Swan"
She scoffed, I smirked more so when she replied "Flattery will get you nowhere Montgomery"
"These two are always at it they should do us all a favour and jump each others bones already."
"We don't even like each other !!!" they chorused.
"Guess I said my thoughts out loud"
"Yes, you did !!!"
Again seriously, they are so in sync its cute.
"No we're not !"
"Would you stop that !"
They shouted over each other.
Placing a bemused expression on my face to hide my embarassment I patted Em on the head and thumped Jake. "That's for stealing the passenger seat after I made her come back for you"
Em just shook her head smiling pretty much used to my antics while Jake attempted to get me back for supposedly messing up his beautiful hair.
"I only ruffled it a bit quit crying you baby" I chuckled out.
My cheeky grin suddenly turning into a confused frown as I watched them start to get out of the car. "Where are you going?"
"Where do you think? " Em shouted back to me already quite a way away. "Oh yeah we've got school, yippee" I muttered to myself swinging my own bag on my back and jogging over to her.
Waving Jake off to his own friends, Em and I made our way over to our lockers.
Where my other bestfriend Edward or Edilio as I so brilliantly named him for the fact that he looked unexplainably Mexican, was waiting for us.
With the wavy dark brown hair, dark brown eyes set in a never-ending smoulder and the plump pink lips always smirking and the way... Okay rambling off topic basically he's hot but don't tell him I told you his ego might inflame more and fry him.
"Hola chico" I called out to him.
"Hola princessa" he chirped back an overexcited look in his eyes.
Immediately we began catching up in spanish since we both took the language and of course because it never failed to piss Emma off to no end.
"Here we go again, you two are not spanish or mexican or whatever and if you dont start speaking English right now I will deporte both your none mexican, none spanish asses to Honduras!!!" Emma snapped.
Its safe to say we always get funny looks from the people around us in school or anywhere for that matter.
"Eh they'll get used to it. That's what they all say."
"Who the hell are you talking to?!" Ed inquired still not quite used to me saying my thoughts out loud.
"Sorry" I whispered blushing furiously.
"No sweat" he laughed, playing off my weirdness.
He has such a nice laugh I thought, staring at him.
"If you two are done eye raping each other, we have art now!"
Emma yelled waving her arms about.
I love her but right then she looked like a deranged chicken lady.
Trying and failing to cover up my embarassment at having been caught staring I said "Hey, I didn't stop you drooling over my brother, did I ?!"
I realised my little slip up only a second after Emma retorted with a "Shut up, I wasn't drooling" and Ed whispered to me "Oh I'm drool worthy, am I ?" before he slinked off into the crowd for his third period.
I know what you're all thinking wow Khianna you're one sexy mama jama and third period ?!
Well you see I slept through first and second period while Em covered for me then at first break she and my brother came back to pick me up. This is a regular thing so my mom just left my breaky in the microwave like she always does when this happens.
Which would be a lot.
"Khiana, If you stand at the door for even a second longer, I will find something of yours to castrate!!!"
In case you can't tell that was Emma. Who was fed up of my mind spree, no doubt because she pushed me through the door.
"Ahh Ms Taylor, Ms Swan so lovely of you to finally break the invisible barrier obviously preventing you both from entering my classroom." Mr Birch said eyeing us from behind his drawing table.
Dont let his name fool you, Mr Birch was quite easy on the eyes at 26. His hawk eyes were scary though he made up for that with his great sense of humour.
Art was boring compared to the usual. Emma was chasing after some spanish kid that I like to call little eduardo because he was soo cute and shorter than other boys. Wonder whether he'll still flirt with her if he heard what she said this morning.
Nah, i'm not that cruel. All the time.
The other guy that usually sits next to me Roger. I call him reggie. Probably because he hates the Archie comics and I have a knack for pissing people off.
Anyway he wasn't in today. I knew he was a player but I was still intrigued by him, after hearing the rumour he was sick with mono, I lost interest.
After art I suffered through biology and Citizenship on my own. I think its safe say I was practically kissing the floor when the bell went for lunch.
Waiting in the cue staring out the window, being slowly shuffled forward by everyone else. I couldn't help but wish my life could be a bit more exciting.
I guess I shoulda listened to my conscience because it almost always tells me to be, careful what I wish for...
