Later on, James and Julianna still hadn't returned so Madison and Elizabeth were having the delicious pizza that Elizabeth had prepared. It was huge, so there was still quite a lot of it left as the two finished off their second slices, licking their fingers as they did so.
"So Maddie; I haven't heard you mention any boys at all. What's going on in that department?" Elizabeth asked. Madison's eyes widened and her cheeks went red at this.
"Why you asking?" she asked, resting her chin on her palm.
"Because you never mention them." Elizabeth replied, laughing along with her.
"There's nothing to really tell, Liz;" she replied as she pulled out her phone. "I'm just focusing on my studies and stuff now."
"Nothing at all?" Elizabeth asked. Madison shook her head, pouting her lips together.
"Nothing at all." she said. Elizabeth just laughed and shook her head before getting up and taking their plates.
"Going to prom this year yes?" she asked. Madison groaned, shaking her head as she hadn't even thought that far ahead. It was only November now; she had ages to think about that.
"It's not until May; I'll think about that later." she replied. Elizabeth stuck her lip out, poking her arm gently.
"Aw come on Maddie, you've got to think about it early, hun. I hope you decide to go! I'm an old lady but the prom was even fun back in my day." she pointed out, making Madison raise an eyebrow as she pulled out her phone. She just shook her head, pouting her lips together as she knew that Elizabeth would try over and over again to get her to agree to prom.
"At least let me take you dress shopping?" Elizabeth carried on.
"Elizabeth, come on man." Madison whined, making Elizabeth laugh as she playfully shoved her.
"No come on, it'll be fun! Come on we can start at the weekend." she said, making Madison laugh as she shook her head.
"No, not right now! It's only November, we'll start dress shopping in January." she said. Elizabeth rolled her eyes, still smirking at her.
"Suit yourself, madam! Anyway what are you up to for the night? I know you crazy kids have some plans or something." she smiled at her. Madison shook her head, looking up from her phone.
"Monday night, Liz, so I have a date with some study guides." she stuck her lip out as she stood up. She then gave Elizabeth a warm hug and kissed her cheek before grabbing her bags and heading off upstairs. She put her backpack down onto her bed and opened her Macbook to boot up, then began to tidy up a bit as her room did look like it had been hit by a cyclone. She didn't do much; she simply threw her dirty clothes into the basket in the corner of her room – making a mental note to wash them later – then put her clean clothing into the drawers before straightening out her bed a little bit. Just as she had finally sat down and switched on the TV, her ringtone of Eminem's Not Afraid began blasting through the room, signaling a phone call. She rolled her eyes and picked up the phone, but she couldn't help but smile when she noticed that it was only Danielle, who was obviously calling from the Pretty Diamonds Magazine Headquarters as her name had the little building symbol next to it, which meant it was a call from the work number.
"Angel face! Sup bitch? Why you calling from your office?" she smirked down the phone, making Danielle laugh right away.
"Sup Queen B? I knew you were wondering, nah but my phone is halfway across the room and I'm damn lazy so..but I was wondering if you fancied coming over to the office and being photographer for us? Our Holiday clothes just came in and we want to put it in the magazine! Please though? I mean I understand if you can't but yeah. Besides I don't want you to be left out of this; Olivia, and Kristen and Adrianna are coming down as well to see the clothes so pretty please, come on." she giggled, making Madison scrunch her nose up at how cute her best friend could be.
