Even though it was only just after eight, Vegas was well and truly alive for the night – the streets were filled with various people who were tourists or "ladies of the evening", cars were filling the streets and driving to various clubs and casinos, the parking lots of the famous hotels were filled with guests who were either staying the night or there to see a "Vegas show". Safe to say, Vegas nightlife was absolutely amazing and Madison and Danielle were dead in the middle of it, though they were focusing on buying some clothes as they hadn't brung any bags with them.

"Vegas is so busy; especially during the night. Cameron says every night in Vegas is a night of sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll." Danielle giggled as she and Madison walked through a shop together. Madison giggled a bit, shaking her head in despair.

"Typical Cameron to be honest; sounds just like him." she rolled her eyes. Danielle giggled as she picked up a pair of pajama shorts and a matching tank top.

"Do you like these?" she asked. Madison looked up, her eyes widening slightly and a small smile creeping up onto her face. Just the thought of Danielle in tiny pajamas such as those was enough to give her butterflies in her stomach.

"Yeah, those are cute." she replied as she turned back to the rack of other pajamas. She settled on a pair of pajamas as well and a black tank top, draping them over her arm.

"Have you already got something to wear for tomorrow then? Unless we go back tonight? Are we going to school tomorrow?" Danielle began asking questions, looking up at Madison. Madison, however, screwed her face up. There was no way she was going to school in the morning, no way at all.

"No chance I'm going to school tomorrow; not with all this shit going on." she replied.

"Good because I literally had no idea how we were gonna make it to Diamond Bar High by eight so I'm ditching too.." Danielle giggled a bit before continuing, "As long as I'm back for rehearsals by four, Miss Hernandez." She gave Madison a flirty smirk, leading Madison to wink at her.

"You'll be back by four, madam." she pouted at her. The two of them grabbed some more clothes before making their way to the front. Once they paid for their things, they got their shopping bags before wandering off outside into the rather humid night air.

"Right, Bellagio is calling our names." Danielle remarked, winking. She and Madison got into the car, before Madison then drove off out of the parking lot, heading off down the street to the famous Bellagio hotel...

Luckily for the two girls, the Bellagio hotel wasn't exactly booked up this time of year, so they were able to get a nice room that had a nice view of the city – Danielle paying for it of course, as Madison had paid for their clothes and the gas to get there. Once the two were in their room, they both got changed into some pajamas before deciding to just go sit out in the living room area for a little while to clear their minds.

"I haven't turned my phone on since we left the hospital; I know everyone is worried about us." Madison said. Danielle nodded in agreement as she pulled out her own phone.

"I only briefly turned mine on to tell my mom I was staying with you for the night and tell the others that we were okay, but I'm sure they're still worried about us." Danielle sighed, running her hands through her hair. Madison sighed as well, curling up in the corner of the sofa as she hugged the pillow to her chest.

"I just checked my phone; missed call from the hospital and a voice mail – I'm scared to listen in case it's something bad." She sighed, looking down at her hands. Danielle reached over and put her hand on her knee, stroking it gently with her thumb.

"It'll be okay; and I'm right here Maddie so go on; just check it. Put it on speaker so we can check it together." she told her, her crystal blue eyes pouring into Madison's own hazel eyes. Madison swallowed before nodding, retrieving her phone from the table. She tapped the 'Voicemail' button under the 'Phone' app, waiting patiently for the call to connect. She activated the speaker phone before putting in her voice mail password, before listening. She gasped; it was her father.

"Hey Madison ; it's me sweetheart. I was calling to say hello and to tell you that I'm okay. Sweetheart where are you? Are you safe? Enrique told me that you stormed off after a fight with Julianna? What's going on sweetie? Talk to me please. Call me? Something buttercup; I just need to know that my little girl is alright. Call me back yeah? I love you Maddie, and I just want to know that you're okay."

Tears filled Madison's eyes as she listened to the voicemail; her father sounded so weak and tired, but yet he was so worried about her as well. Danielle saw the tears in her friend's eyes and scooted closer, wrapping an arm around her. Madison tossed her phone onto the table before snuggling into Danielle, bursting into tears on her friend's shoulder. Danielle swallowed, holding Madison close to her and rubbing her back gently, kissing the side of her forehead as she did so.

"Shh, everything will be okay; I know it will." she assured her. She didn't know what else to say; all she could do was hold Madison in her arms and tell her that she was there for her..

And that's what she planned on doing. She held Madison close to her, comforting her as best she could – because she cared so much for her...

The two didn't even really know how long they had sat like that; Madison finally having calmed down enough and had even called her father back, having spoken to him for a little bit and promised to explain the following day when she came back. Once she hung up, she did feel a little bit better but remained snuggled into Danielle, the two of them now absentmindedly watching TV together. It was only after one in the morning when the pair decided that maybe they should go have a lie down, it starting to get quite late as it was now after one in the morning. The two shut the TV off and went to the bedroom; Danielle climbing into one bed and Madison climbing into the other.

"It's been the longest day of my life and I'm tired." Madison pouted, shaking her head in despair. Danielle nodded, glancing over at her.

"Are you sure okay?" she asked. Madison shrugged, tying her hair up into a top knot.

"I'm so over this whole day, honestly, Danni." She said. Danielle smiled sadly, biting her lip.

"I know you are." She said quietly. She then noticed how sad her friend looked, leading her to have an idea. She just hoped it wouldn't complicate things.

"Cuddle?" she asked, holding her arms out...

Madison felt like her heart had jumped into her throat. Her and Danielle, in the same bed? Cuddling? Holy shit. She chewed her lip; she knew she had to try not to act on those feelings she had for Danielle. It was just an innocent cuddle right? An innocent cuddle...that she so desperately needed.

"Okay." She said.

She got out of her bed and made her way over to Danielle's bed, climbing in with her. She instantly cuddled into her, feeling comfortable in the arms of her blonde best friend. It was like – she belonged here.

"Are you comfy?" Danielle asked, softly tucking a loose bit of hair behind Madison's ear. Madison nodded, completely cuddled into her as she rested her head on her shoulder. Danielle smiled and softly kissed her forehead, feeling very protective over Madison now. She knew she needed her more than ever now – and she was determined to be there.

She was suddenly surprised when Nevra took her hand, lacing her fingers through hers as she snuggled into her more.

"Thank you." came a muttered response from Madison, who was looking up at Danielle– her hazel eyes pouring into the shining blue eyes that belonged to Danielle. Something about this moment felt too natural. Almost like it was meant to happen...

And in an instant, the two girls felt their lips meeting in a tender kiss that made them feel like a million fireworks had burst in their hearts...
