Madison and Danielle thoroughly enjoyed their ride into out to West Diamond Bar, laughing together and singing along to Madison's IRL album at the top of their lungs with the windows rolled down. Madison ended up laughing so hard that her ribs were aching, while Danielle had to wave her hands in her face due to the tears that were forming from laughing so hard. By the time the girls pulled up at the Diamond Bar Food and Film Cafe, they were in agony from laughing.
"Oh man, Danielle, you're too funny, girl!" Madison remarked as they got out of the car. Danielle just giggled to herself, texting on her phone as the two of them headed inside.
"Hey, you're the one who decided to sing and start choking." she winked, making Madison smirk as she punched her in the arm. Soon enough, they reached the front counter. The girl behind the counter looked up, smiling widely.
"Hi; just two?" she asked. Madison and Danielle nodded, before smiling and leading them over to a comfy wrap around booth with a table in the middle.
"Is this okay?" she asked. Danielle nodded before sitting down along with Madison.
"Alright and my name is Zoey, I'll be taking care of you tonight. Can I start you off with something to drink?" Zoey asked, smiling warmly.
"Erm, just a Mocha Frappuccino please." Madison replied.
"Can I have a Hazelnut Frappuccino with whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top?" Danielle asked, looking up. Zoey scribbled down their drink orders, nodding her head.
"You certainly can, ma'am! I'll be right back with those." she said before walking away and leaving the two to look over the menu.
"Dude, how do you still look flawless even after rehearsals?" Madison asked, actually amazed at how hard Danielle had worked in rehearsals and how she didn't look sweaty or tired in the slightest; she still was gorgeous.
"Girl you're crazy but thank you; this food is gonna be love though! I'm totally feeling a double cheeseburger with bacon on and some fries. I'm starving, lunch wasn't appetizing today was it? It was ass!" Danielle rambled on, smiling away to herself as she looked at the menu.
"I'm feeling a massive bacon-ranch salad with crispy chicken in; I hear they have the extremely huge ones here. And honestly, lunch today really was shit to be honest; were they supposed to be potatoes au gratin or what?" Madison asked, looking up from the menu. Danielle laughed, shrugging her shoulders.
"You know, I don't even know." she chuckled before smiling as Zoey wandered back over with their drinks.
"Okay, so here's a Hazelnut Frappuccino with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and here is a Mocha Frappuccino. Are you ready to order?" she asked.
"I think we are yeah. Can we have a double cheeseburger with bacon on it and fries, and the extra large bacon-ranch salad with crispy chicken and ranch dressing?" Madison told her the order, making Zoey nod her head as she wrote it down.
"Amazing choices! Alright so I'll be back with those soon – and the film will be starting in fifteen minutes just so you know. It's The Avengers." she said. Madison and Danielle nodded and thanked her before watching her walk away.
"I've already seen The Avengers; dope ass film if you ask me." Danielle remarked, smiling away. Madison giggled, nodding her head as she took a sip of her coke.
"Yeah it was pretty lit." she grinned, watching her friend. Danielle smiled back at her before taking a sip of her own drink.
"So your birthday is in officially two weeks! Come on; do you still not want a party? I'm excited even if you're not." she winked, making Madison burst out laughing. She had to admit though; her friends did seem way more excited about her actual birthday than she was.
