Why'd you leave me in a box by the side of a crooked road?
A loneliness my little body couldn't ever hold.
I miss the way we cuddled by the fire on the couch
I miss the mailman that shoved the news in my mouth,
and the way you'd say "I love you" when I licked your nose
and the way you'd pet my warm fur when there was snow.
So I cry and cry but you never come
would the pain stop if I found a stranger to love?
It hurts so much...
