Josh:
Colleen and I got on the plane and took our seats. Two rows in front of us there was a couple and a little baby, maybe 6 months old. Most people would be annoyed by the sight of a baby on such a long flight, but I was happy. I love babies.
Colleen must not have been too annoyed either because she happily pointed out the cute little family to me.
We talk about various things and edit for a lot of the flight, but both of us can't stop looking at the baby. Colleen keeps waving at her, and she giggles in response. Colleen will make an amazing mommy one day. That is, when we're ready.
Time flies and soon we've landed. As we get off the plane, Colleen tells the baby's dads again how adorable their daughter is. Maybe, just maybe, Colleen's warming up to the idea of parenthood in the near future.

Colleen:
We get to our hotel and check in. I'm exhausted, and it's late at night, so Josh and I cuddle up in bed and I convince him to watch the Bachelor with me. He cringes at the romantic parts and I giggle.

"Why are you laughing?" Josh asks.

"I think it's funny how much you hate this show." I giggle.

"The romantic parts are so fake." he laughs in response. I just laugh and rest my head on his shoulder.

"Jushwa?" I ask, in a baby voice, "Will you kiss me?"

He nods and kisses me. We keep snuggling and I Snapchat him watching the Bachelor. He eventually falls asleep. I look at my handsome husband and can't help but reflect on how much I love him. I push his hair out of his face and admire him. Josh has a faint smile on his face, as if he's dreaming about something very happy. I try to imagine what he's dreaming about.

I close my eyes, picturing us with two little kids - a toddler-aged girl, and a baby boy. This is what Josh is probably dreaming about. I see myself, holding the baby while listening to my daughter tell me a story.

"I'm a princess!" She exclaims, "Princess Lily!"

I giggle at her and brush a strand of hair out of her face, "You are a very beautiful princess, Lil." I tell her.

"You're a princess, too, Mommy!" She cheers, putting a tiara on my head.

"Oh, really?!" I reply.

"Yeah! And Noah's a princess, too!" she exclaims, gently putting a tiara on her baby brother's head. He giggles and grabs at the crown. "And so is Daddy!" she says, noticing Josh as he walks in the room. He picks her up and they both laugh. He comes over to me and kisses me.

"Ew! Cooties!" Lily says, covering her eyes.

Back in real life, I cuddle up to Josh and drift off to sleep imagining my happy family. One day it'll be a reality. Maybe sometime soon. Maybe.
