Bump In The Road: Josh & Colleen

Rustling

Josh:

It's Day 3 of our Hawaiian vacation, and tomorrow afternoon we're flying home. Today Colleen and I are jet-skiing.
Right now I'm editing a vlog in our cabana. I check the time on the top of my laptop - 11:30. I got up at 8:30 and came down to our cabana and Colleen's still not here. She was asleep when I left but we went to bed early last night and she should be awake by now. Maybe she's just not feeling well. I tell myself.
I brush it off and continue editing. I finish the vlog and tweet "exportinggggg". I look at the clock again - noon. I call Colleen but she doesn't answer. She can't still be asleep, can she? I'm starting to get worried.
I call her again. No response. Is she okay? Oh no. What if she passed out again? What if her shoulder's acting up again? But it hasn't been hurting at all. She had surgery.
I look back at my laptop and there's a bunch of tweets asking where the vlog is.
Colleen's probably fine. I tell myself.
I upload the vlog and tweet "sorry for the delay, but now I'm uploadinggggg!"
Once the vlog is uploaded & I tweet the link to it, I pack up my laptop and head back to our hotel so I can check on Colleen.
I call her as I'm walking inside. This time she answers.
"Hello?" She shakily asks.
"Hey, baby, it's me. Are you ok?"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm good."
I hear rustling in the background.
"So, why are you calling Snoopy?"
"Um, I just wanted to check on you. You didn't answer my past calls."
"Oh yeah, um... I'm sorry. I was.. drying my hair."
"Ok... Well, I'm coming up to the room, ok?"
"Oh yeah, great!"
More rustling. A door opens and closes. Then a cabinet.
"Ok, see you in a minute."
What is she trying to hide from me? I tried to act like I didn't notice what was going on, but I could hear how shaky her voice was at the beginning. She And I could hear her opening the door, as if to let someone out.
Who would be in our hotel room with Colleen that she would have to hide from me?
