A couple days passed and we're finally making our way to Atlanta. We get in Atlanta and I just can't help but think of how my life would be living in a different state. I kept thinking to myself that life wouldn't be the same from now on. Still battling depression I fell asleep and couldn't help but dream about the things that have happened to me. As we arrive to our ne apartment I just look around and prepare myself for the day ahead of me. We start moving furniture and boxes out of our little blue Aztec and U-Haul. Walking in and out of our new apartment in Georgia's heat was torturous. Lifting couches, tables, boxes, and sheets full of clothes was tiring and great exercise. To top it off my room was up a flight of stairs. After about five or so hours later we were done moving furniture inside our new apartment. For the next couple of days my family and I start to unpack our clothes and things for our rooms. My room wasn't small like the one at my now old house. When you walk through my bedroom door my closet is to the right and if you look straight ahead there's my little window overlooking my backyard if you can even call it that. Against the wall is my bed; to the left of my bed is my multicolor lamp which comes in handy for late night reading. On the left side of my bed is ,y nightstand which holds my mini bar of water, juice, coffee and Quicktrips infamous icee's . I know what you guys are thinking, "Damn she drinks a lot". In fact I do. It's a habit that I can't break. I've always had to have something to drink on the side of my bed, but we're getting off topic. It's the second month of summer and it's time to register for school. Whoopty fucking doo!! I'm so excited!!(hint my excitement). My mom looks at my school's website and see's that they're having volleyball conditioning in the gym starting the following week. "Do you wanna try out for the volleyball team"?, she asked. "Sure, it should be fun", I replied. So the day comes when I go to the conditioning. I didn't know anyone there and everybody there knew each other. The coach was really nice and funny. We started off doing suicides, lunges, pushups, sit-ups, crunches every exercise you can think of we did. I was so tired after conditioning and when it was finally time to go home I was tired as hell. When I got in the car my mom asked how it went and I told her how tired I was. When we finally got home I went straight to my room and fell asleep. You're all probably thinking I'm disgusting because I didn't take a shower before I got in my bed. Trust me if you were me you would've done the same thing. When I finally woke up it was time to eat dinner and I finally took a shower. I ate dinner, went back in my room and watched tv for a couple hours before going back to sleep. The next morning I had to go back to conditioning. I woke up and I was super sore. It was hard to put my clothes on without whimpering from the excruciating pain I was in at the time. To make it much much worse I had to walk down a flight of stairs. That my friends was worse than getting shots in your thighs. I had to hold on to the rail and it was just horrible. Anyway getting to the more interesting parts, that day at practice we actually did volleyball related things like bumping, setting and spiking. Then we danced the cupid shuffle and stretched. Right before we left the coach told us she was leaving to go work at a middle school and that when school started we would have two different coaches to help us. The last week of summer came and I started school. I went to this dumbass charter school called Cross Keys High School where we had to wear stupid uniforms. I mean you could say I was used to it from going to a private school for middle school and things but really mom? So the first day of school comes and I'm a sophomore and I know no one. We all had to go to the gym to listen to the principle talk about the dress code ( I know what about it we wear uniforms ) but she just told us what we could and couldn't wear. She went over the rules and told us that if we wore our uniforms correctly from Monday to Thursday we could wear regular clothes on Fridays. That was a fucking plus. The plus side to the day was I met someone during the meeting. He was gay and funny. The downside to the day was I didn't have a schedule and I had to stay in the library all day. I met three new people that day. Kadia and Bianca became my two bestfriends that day. They were great people that day. The next day I finally got my schedule (thank God). We didn't continue volleyball conditioning until the second week of school. Little did I know that the next few weeks I would actually have people watching me, my body would start to drastically change and that someone in particular would seek for my attention.
