You ever want to relive a moment but from another perspective. I never wanted to be a fly on the wall so bad. I hope I didn't look like a fish while he stood in front of me so effortless just a couple minutes ago. I was still in the same spot he left me since he walked out of the room. I can't seem to get my feet to move and it just felt like the room was closing in on me. It was hot and the sun coming in from the window gave me just enough light to look around. He was actually really neat in his room, everything was in place and the bed was just a tad bit messy from tossing and turning in my sleep. His side looked like he didn't even sleep there. I quickly got dressed and grabbed all my stuff and headed downstairs. He was sitting on the couch with two plate of food on the small table in front of the couch. He was staring at his phone. I sat down and just watch him. I didn't want to talk because I was scared of what would come out of my mouth. I didn't wanna ask what it meant or if he was serious. Those questions always lead to disappointment and I wasn't risking it. He looked up and smiled then handed me the plate.
"Eat, we going out and you need food"
He said as he got up and walked to the kitchen. I wanted to say I should go home but I just ate and went in the kitchen to put my plate down. He was standing in front of the sink just staring into space. His back was turned so I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his large hands around my tiny ones and played with my fingers.
"Can I ask you something " I said as he gently twisted my fingers around his. I felt him nod so I continued " what are we doing, I mean I don't wanna be just a random. But I don't wanna push for anything to mean something to you if it dont." He turned around and I suddenly lost my breath again. I walked back and he kept walking forward, I trip on air or whatever was on the floor and right before I fell he caught me and held me by my waist. It was silence and we just stared at each other not moving and then he kissed me. I couldn't kiss back at first because I still didn't get an answer to my question. Just as I started to kiss back and things getting heated the doorbell ring. We pull apart and for a split second he looks too nervous to register that somebody is actually at the door. He scratches his head and I touch my lightly swollen lips. I then realized that he actually hasn't walked to open the door. So I move away from him and back away. The nervous smile appears and I slowly walk to the door while he tell me to come back and not open. I open the door and she was standing right there. She was dressed in all black and had curly long hair.
"So you the reason why my boyfriend has been dodging my calls and text all morning"
I was speechless. Decisions, decisions.
