She was really gorgeous, the kind of girl you would see in a magazine. She looked slightly older maybe 20. She stared at me waiting for me to let her in since I was blocking the door. I couldn't move because I have had shocking moments but this takes the cake on everything. I turned around once I heard footsteps and there he was staring at her.
"Monica I thought I told you to stop calling me and that we over." He says looking all bored and unaffected. She moved past me and walked up to him hugging him then setting her bag on the counter. He takes the bag and hands it right back to her and walks her out the door.
"I moved on and I'm not going to let you walk In here and try to intimidate her. So go back to college and stay with darrell." He told her with his jaw clenched. I felt like adding salt to her wound so I walk up him and wrap my arms around his waist while resting my head on his back. I should believe that she was just a delusional ex who decided to show up and beg for forgiveness. She looked at me intensely as if he wasn't standing there that she would have tossed her expensive bag at my head. He held my hand that was around his waist and held me closer if that was Even possible while slowly circling the skin on my index finger. She stepped back as if she has been stabbed and said "you moved on already. you forgot about everything that happened between us and moved on. How could you!" She screamed and I internally flinched at her tone of voice. He let's go of my arm and slowly stepped in front of her. He point his finger all while saying "you messed up! The day I found you in our bed curled up under him I forgot all things revolving us. I promise I do not care for an explanation. You did that to me while I did everything to make you happy. Yet you slept with him! you ruined me so get out!now!"
By the end tears were running down her face and I almost felt bad but she had ruined him. She did this to him and then had the nerve to show up here. "You should go" I said as I walked up to the door and opened it wide. She took on last look at me then him and quietly walked out before slowly turning around and telling me in a whisper "I loved him, I really did. It's more to it than me cheating. I guess history can't beat potential" with one last look she walked down the driveway to her car and got in and drove away. This has got to me the most confusing day.
