After classes we're dismissed Blaze gave Jhone a quick wave goodbye before heading to the parking lot emediatelly. Still not getting over the awkwardness earlier. She rushed to her car and pulled over in a drug store. Blaze was on a diet pill because she was very concious about herself... her family doesn't know any of it.
She got home with her mom and Rochelle sitting on the table.
"Is there something wrong?...again? This time??" She asked partly. "You used my iphone charger again leaving it pluged in the outlett. AGAIN." Rochelle said with anger in her tone. "Yyyeah sorry I forgot. But it had happened only this time... so I... didn't meant to do it." She managed to say.
"Of course you didn't. You always leave it pluged in the outlet, without a cellphone you know what? You always ruin my things. That charger was an original! Couldn't you be more carefull?" Rochelle continued
"Hey that charger was ruined by yourself..." She managed to say while shaking. "You leave it pluged in without your iphone too. And I don't do it always. Four, five times? Thats it and I didnt mean it. She couldn't believe her sister was so calm talking to her infront of her mom. She was being fake and she knew it. "You always think that you're always the kind one. Stop faking it" she continued.
"See what I was talking about mom?" Rochelle said while holding her hand in victory in the back of her head. "She was always like this when she talked to me. My frined would always ask me what is wrong with her. Or why is she always in a tone with me..." she was cut off by a mad Blaze "I do that because you are in a tone with me! I depend it on you weather you'll give me an attitude or not! What the hell?" Blaze said cutting her off angrily.
"People respect me as a person at work, but my own sister doesn't give me a damn. So mom please teach her respect before I do. My friend Katherine noticed it too... even Dean." she said clear and calm. Katherine is Rochelle's tighest friend in her designing career. And Dean is her " something else " though they're only in a dating status. Mom seemed to like him very much for the reason I like him. But not like that. Never.
Blaze cleared her throat. "And you think Dean doesn't ask me the same thing. About how weird youre acting? How over reacting you are most times when you two have a fight?" Rochelle just rolled her eyes. "And mom just tell her to discipline herself. The way she talks to me when my friends are around. She humilliate me every time,and I've never done that to her."
Blaze can't hold back the pressure any longer. Her eyes started to fill with water. She can't handle it anymore. She's being upper handed by her sister again.
Just because she's older but she doesn't fight fair. Whenever they have confrontations like this, Rochelle would always bring up things and issues from the past so that she could blame everything to Blaze.
That's why Blaze just always admits it to herself that it is her fault although it is... Not all the time. She thought she could fight back but she can't speak any words. She couldn't deffend herself for a reason. All of the words were stucked at the back of her throat and she couldn't spit it all up.
It was all there blocking her tongue to speak up. She was ashamed of herself that she couldn't speak. She was always careless about what she has to say as long as she know she still have a point. But she don't know what's happening to her.
All she can do is stand there and burst into humilliation..she was crying infront of her mother and sister fo God's sake. Two of the last people she'd what'em to her cry. She pity herself at this point. She cried in disbelief about what her sister can say about her. How aggressive but arrogant her sister was.
The sad part is, she didn't even know what Rochelle's friends think about her and that she didn't know that she was taking things too far. She wasn't sure what to think of. All of them misunderatood her for sure. And as for Dean, she let him down by telling Rochelle that Dean is confussed about her attitude too. She hated herself at the same time.
Blaze and Dean shared secrets and stories about each other... Eventhough Dean was always at Rochelle's side,and would only ask for advice whenever from Blaze when they're in a fight. It was okay to Blaze because that's the way its supposed to be. Supporting no matter what descission your partner makes.
But still, she was upset that Dean said that about her. About her attitude. She hated him. She hated them both. Her mother finally spoke...
