I was alway the happy one, the approachable one. Well at least outside I am. But Its all different inside. I feel alone most times, finding myself talking to the mirror and seeing someone I'm really not. It killed me lying to myself that I'm actually happy with what I've got. It killed me not letting anyone in my real world... I mean everyone. Not even Jhon. No one knew how I really felt every night and everyday when I get home.
Not too long when I heard someone speeding through the exit. T'was Jhon.
I was sitting against my car hugging my knees. "Hello? What the hell Brooks?" He said with confussion and amusement in his face. "I'm sorry... It was just... I'm confuse. I..." He looked at me concerned and sat with me. "I just don't know what to think of anymore. One, what had happened between me and my sister. The way things have changed. Two, how the hell did I got that average for chr*st's sake! I don't know what to think of anymore." I said looking like an unsolved puzzle and like a kid that lost her puppy.
"Look, It's okay. Okay? One, you and you're sister will... will... get yourselves together before you know it! And two... you deserve that top average okay? You worked for it and You deserve it with all your...with all your heart. Phew" Jhon said looking like he just made those up. But actually what he said was all true about Blaze. Except for Blaze's and Rochelle's situation. It is very unpredictable. Blaze noticed and smiled poutly.
"Yeah right. Whatever . Thanks for cheering me up... Jhon Jules Jefferson." His expression changed. He doesn't like it when she calls him by his full name. "Oh yeah? Blaze ... Blaze Ashton Brooks" He said mocking her and hoping she'll get pissed, but it turned out the other way around.
"HAHAHA!!!..." She laughed making Jhon mad than he already was. "You look so cute Mr. Jefferson when you try to piss me off with that smug... defeated look on your face. Youre like a baby trying to tease his older sister but failed to do it ahahahah." She continued to traile off while bursting into laughter.
"Okay. Okay. I'm stopping." Blaze said while trying to hold her laugh back.
"Thanks for being here for me... as always. I wouldn't done all these without My JJ..J" she said with an innocent smile in her face. "Yeah It's nothing ..Bab" He smiled at her. They call each other their initials since its shorter and easier. It was a ten seconds silent...
They were leaning against each other by the way... makes it more awkward "I think we better get going... class's bout to start" she said noticing the awkwardness. "Sure" he got up with her still looking at her with a bit of spark in his twinkling eyes.
