Last day of school came. And thankfully, the principle allowed us to wear whatever we wanted to. The only day we got to do this was on a Wednesday.

I decided to wear something different since Brooklyn loved what I was wearing the day before. I made sure I wasn't revealing too much skin and made sure I didn't cover up my whole body and looked like a freaking eskimo.

I quickly showered, rubbed some cream on my ankle and changed into a grey TopShop Cropped Rib Fine Knit Jumper and an American Apparel Medium High-Waist Jean Cuff Short. I tied my hair into a simple casual bun and put a white headband to keep my hair out of my face.

I packed up a plain, white tee in my bag, grabbed my decorated binder and walked downstairs. "Morning, Megan!" My mother chirped. "Hi, Meg. Excited for last day of school?" My dad was sipping a mug of coffee while mum was busy on her computer. "I feel pumped. I gotta go. See you after school." I pecked my parents' cheeks and tied up my pair of Chuck Taylor Navy Sneakers.

I walked out of the house expecting Brooklyn walking out too, but he didn't. I waited outside for a few minutes waiting for him, but he didn't come out. Instead, it was David and Victoria.

"Megan? I thought you went off to school with Brooklyn?" David asked as Victoria locked the door.

"What? He went already? I thought he had a bad day and accidentally woke up late."

"I don't know what's up with him lately. He's been acting a bit weird. You should better be off to school before you're late," Victoria said and I waved goodbye to them.

It felt weird walking alone to school. It felt weird going to the cafe alone. After doing the same routine with him since forever, it just felt so weird.

By the time I reached school, the bell had rung so I rushed off to class, which was Physics. I sat at the place where I'd always sit and soon, the teacher came in.

"Good morning, class. Since today's the last day of school, I decided to do something fun. And I mean fun. I hope everybody's wearing something appropriate to move in," Mr. Callum boomed. His voice could just make your ears pop. He was too loud.

"Today we'll be-" He was interrupted by the class door opening. Everyone's attention went straight to the lady at the door.

"I'm sorry to intrude, Mr. Callum. May I add an extra two students in your class? Mr. Beckham and Miss Lisbon were seen smooching in the corridor." Mrs. Winston dragged two students behind her. Everyone then turned to look at me and I myself was shocked to what Mrs. Winston had just informed. I was sure as heck that Mrs. Winston knew that Brooklyn and I were dating. Why did she have to say it? I ignored everyone's stares and looked down at my notebook.

"Sure, Mrs. Winston. Beckham, sit next to Miss Hanson. And Miss Lisbon, sit next to Peterson," Mr. Callum ordered and Brooklyn took a seat next to me. He placed his bag on the Lab's table and took out a piece of paper and a pen. He wrote something on it and gave it to me.

I'll explain later

I took the pen from his hand and wrote, You Better.

Mr. Callum instructed us to walk to the school field and get into a circle. We took our bags and went out row-by-row.

"Explain, Brooklyn," I snapped as we were on our way to the field.

"Look, I really am sorry for going to school without you. But yesterday, Lisbon said she had something important to tell me. Yes, I should've told you because you're my girlfriend. But please, forgive me."

"What about the smooching?" I folded my arms and continued walking quickly. Both Brooklyn and I were athletes so he could keep up.

"Honestly, I don't even know. One moment, we were arguing about how I love you, next thing I knew, she had her Kylie Jenner lips on mine."
