Writing, to me, right now, is my everything. It allows me to express my thoughts and ideas. I started reading the Harry Potter series at the age of 7 and reread everything at the age of 12. I enjoyed it. The guest room at my house has turned into a library, filled with all kinds of books and series. Last year, I wanted to become an Architect. But I had no skills in drawing, AT ALL! At the beginning of this year, I discovered Wattpad. Majority of books I read were either just cliche or had terrible punctuation. So I thought, why not start writing my own story. Ideas kept on flying here and there. And honestly, my first few chapters on my first book, Dream, were terrible, horrifying to read and undoubtedly cringe worthy. I've edited it but it's still a bit cringe worthy to read.
imaginator1D started her book like every one of us. But because of her hard work and determination, her book got published. That's my goal. And I will work real hard for it. My ambition, for now, is to either become an Editorial Assistant or a Manuscript reader. If I could, I'd work with Wattpad.
I'm taking GCSE in three years time and I've already planned out what subjects I want and have to take. My current English teacher is begging the principle to add in English Literature, the subject I REALLY want to take. And I've also done my exploration for a good University in London to go to. Don't believe me? Simply ask any one of my friends because I bring this notebook everywhere and jot down every information.
Some of my friend's call me 'An Obsessive Writer' while my parents' friends, who have seen me bring a notepad and write ideas everywhere I go, are happy for me and support me. I love it. I love how people see something in me. Something more than just a basic teenager.
Conclusion here is, if you really want to become something and do a specific job you love, work hard for it. Show people what you've got. Inspire or motivate someone with yourself. And with all that, you could get a really good outcome.
