"What's up, (Y/L/N)?" I heard as I opened the door. I widened my eyes, not believing my eyes.

It was Chris, my childhood best friend. We did used to do everything together. We had known each other from elementary school and spent the rest of our school lives together.

Until I moved to LA, I used to live in Omaha but I went to LA to discover some new things. I didn't regret it of course, but I hadn't talked to Chris for ages. And I did miss him. "Holy shit!" I gasped as I jumped into his arms.

This sounds really, really strange; especially with me having a boyfriend. But you know, I've known this guy my entire life and the last time I saw him was at the graduation of fucking high school. "You look fly as fuck." He said while clapping.

"Thank you, I try." I said bowing down for the applause. "Come in!" I opened the door a little further and he looked around.

"Nice apartment."

"I know."

He turned around and raised a brow. "Still the good 'ol (Y/N)."

I laughed and went to the kitchen to get us some drinks. "How's the boy-toy?" Chris asked. He had a girlfriend himself luckily so I was sure nothing would happen.

"First, he's not my 'boy-toy'," I said while quoting his words. "he's my boyfriend. Second, we're pretty good. Third, how's your little slave?" I joked while winking at him.

Chris playfully scoffed at me and drank his drink. I smirked at him and laughed. God I missed my best friend.

After a while of getting caught up with our lives, I heard the door open and saw Swazz walking in. "Hey ba-"

Before he could finish his sentence he looked at my with furrowed brows and a very confused expression. "Who's that?" He asked right away.

"Oh, babe." I pulled Chris up and he put his hands in his pockets. "This is Chris. A good friend of mine. Chris, my boyfriend John, but everyone calls him Swazz."

They weakly shook hands while John was death-glaring Chris. I furrowed my brows and coughed, breaking the tension. "So Chris was just-"

"About to leave? Yeah, I agree. Nice to meet you, sort of, but bye."

I looked at Chris and he looked just as confused as I was. "I should... go. I'll call you." He looked at me worried and quickly left.

"What the fuck?" I shouted through my apartment. "You were rude as hell towards him!"

"Why shouldn't I be? There's suddenly a fucking random guy sitting in my girlfriends apartment!"

"Random guy? I told you he-"

"Yeah, he's a 'good friend' but I've never seen him, though!"

"Because-"

"You know, don't even." He coldly laughed.

"What the fuck are-"

"(Y/N), I had a shit day. And you are definitely not helping this fucking headache. So do me a favor and shut up for a second?"

I widened my eyes at his rudeness. "Well, sorry my majesty, but there's a few things you need to know. First, this is my apartment. Second, there's no fucking need to put your anger on me? Third, he has a fucking girlfriend!"

His gaze dropped and sat down. "Why the fuck didn't you tell me earlier?"

"You didn't even let me talk, God damn it!"

He stayed quiet for a while. Until Swazz stood up and tightly wrapped his arms around me. "I'm sorry, babe. It's just that- that I haven't been sleeping well and I'm just... I don't want to loose you."

Smooth save. "You won't. You won't ever."

"Good." He murmured into my neck. "I love you."
