Pastry Chef Dioli’s flour coated hands swatted his wife’s words away in a puff of white.

“But why don’t you want to move?” she beseeched.

Dioli’s Bakery was famous for its blueberry jelly donuts. The gelatinous texture was almost creamy. The color was an impossible concoction of sky and ocean. 

“Because,” he stormed, “not enough blue eyed people live there!”
