A stiff, plastic hand gripped the woman’s throat. Sharp crackling was heard as the fingers squeezed. White paint for eyes peered into dimming brown ones. When the life left them entirely, the plastic being stood up.
It walked, clacking and clicking, until it stopped at a display window. The store’s dim lights provided a perfect mirror. Brown eyes were reflected.
