Jealousy.

I was so happy to finally be going home. I swear if one more stupid jock asked me if I wanted 'a good time' I was seriously going to castrate someone. When I finally got home though I was even hapier because my parents car was sitting in the drive way.
"Mom, Dad I'm home" I shouted from the front door. All of a sudden I was pulled into a bone crushing bear hug by my mom.
"Oh sweetie I missed you so much. How has school been? Has your sister been behaving herself?" my mom was bombarding me with questions while still hugging me in the bone crushing hug.
"Mom... Can't....Breathe" I said. She pulled away slightly but kept her hands on my arms.
"I'm so sorry sweetie" my mom chuckled.
"It's okay" I gave her a gentle smile.
"Hey Annabelle" My dad said from the stairs.
"DADDY!" I screamed and went running towards him. I have always been a daddy's girl right from birth my mom always told me stories of how in the night when me and Mellissa would cry my dad used to have to be the one to settle me or I would carry on crying.
"How are you darling?" He asked while hugging me.
"I'm okay daddy, how was yours and mom's holiday?" I asked him.
"It was okay we missed you girls though" he said you could hear the smile in his voice.

We sat down to eat dinner and Mellissa still wasn't home, guess she was with Tyler for some reason thinking of those two together made my blood boil with anger and I felt extremely jealous.... Weird. 10 minutes later Mellissa walked in with Tyler at her side.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Chase, it is lovely to see you both again" Tyler said. Wow his voice sounded like a gods.
"Hello Tyler it is lovely to see you, how is your mother and father?" My mom asked him.
"They're okay, my father has been busy because as from tomorrow I will be stepping up as Alpha" Tyler said, you could hear the pride in his voice. Stupid Mellissa will be his Luna.. Urgh!
"Oh that is wonderful dear, will you be joining us for dinner?" My mom asked.
"If that is okay Mrs Chase"
"Oh of course it is, please take a seat" and she gestured to the one that was right next to mine.
"Mom, Dad is it okay if Tyler stays over tonight because it's his birthday tomorrow and... yeah" Mellissa asked.
"Of course he can sweetie" My mom said you could hear the pride in her voice with the fact that her daughter was dating the soon-to-be Alpha and the fact that he would be staying over our house.
I suddenly lost my appatite as soon as I thought of the fact that Tyler would be sleeping in the same bed as Mellissa. "Mom I think I'm gonna head up to bed, I've got a headache"
"Okay sweetie are you okay?"
"Yeah I'll be fine, just had a long day, night" I didn't even wait for their replies I just left and went straight uptoo my room and locked the door behind me. What was happening to me?
"You will find out soon enough" My wolf said to me.
"And what is that suppossed to mean?" I asked her.
"Like I said you will find out soon enough"

All night I couldn't sleep all I could think about was Tyler, yeah I admit I always thought he was hot but I had never lost sleep over him. I decided to go downstairs and get some water. It was half 2 in the morning and I had to be up at 6am. When I walked into the kitchen I saw a figure sitting at the table shirtless. But I couldn't make out who it was because their back was to me, it was either my dad or Tyler. I chose to just ignore who ever it was and turned the light on and walked straight to the fridge. I kept my back to them the whole time, if they wanted to talk to me they could.
"Couldn't sleep?"
"Nope" I replied back. As soon as I heard that voice I realised it was Tyler and my heart began beating wildly.
"Come sit with me" He asked.
"Urmmm.... Okay" I pulled out the chair opposite him and kept my eyes down.
"So why couldn't you sleep?"
"Couldn't get comfortable, you?" I was always good at lying so it wasn't hard to lie to him.
"Mellissa isn't my mate" I was shocked by the fact that Mellissa wasn't his mate and the fact of how honest he was being.
"How do you know?" I asked I looked up but avoiding his eyes.
"Well as soon as it turned midnight it was officially my birthday so I should have felt something with her then, I didn't feel the sparks, I didn't feel the pure love or any of it" He replied.
"How do you know when someone is your mate?" I asked, I never actually paid much attention when people spoke about the feelings you get or any of that.
"Well the girl usually realises about the day before, her mate will be all she can think of, she will feel things for him she can't explain, when they first touch it will be almost as though there are electric bolts going through their bodies but they are a nice kind of shock, when they kiss it's almost as though there is nothing else in the world and you would do anything for that person" He said. You could tell he really wanted to find his mate. But for some reason when he said about the girl thinking about the guy the day before, the feelings it made me realise how I felt yesterday. But there is no way that I could be be his mate... Is there?
"I'm sure you will find her, every girl at school wants to be your mate so I'm sure you will find her there" I gave him a genuine smile.
"Thanks Annabelle, you're a really cool girl you know that" He gave me a smile back which showed a small dimple in his right cheek.
"Thanks Tyler, You're gonna make an amazing Alpha and you will find an amazing girl who will make a great Luna"
"Wanna hug it out?" He asked you could see the sparkle in his eye. I didn't know why it was there but who cares. It suited him.
"Sure" I giggled and stood up and walked over to him. He stayed sitting down. "Are you not gonna stand up" I asked him.
"Nahh, I'm too lazy for that" He laughed.
"Okay if you say so" I gave him a hug and as soon as I touched him I felt sparks going through my body. No this has got to be my imagination.
"Mate" He said and looked me straight in my eyes.
