Once we arrived at the pack house I started panicing, what if his parents don't approve of me and don't think that I'll be strong enough to be Luna. This pack is the strongest pack within all of America, what if they think that I won't be good enough to keep the pack strong?

"Baby calm down, my parents will love you and so will the rest of the pack. I promise you" Tyler said with a gentle smile.

"What if they don't think I'm good enough to keep the pack standing, I mean this is the strongest pack in America and all I am is a nerd, what if they think that Mellissa would be a better Luna, she is pretty...." I mumbled the last part thinking he wouldn't hear.

"Trust me you are more then good enough to be Luna, from what I've seen of your fighting skills you are very good, we will work more on them but you know what you're doing when it comes to fighting, you are sweet and caring, you're a good listener, you know how to keep things in control and to be Luna you need to have brains also it isn't about looks but you are perfect, you are the most beautiful person I have ever laid my eyes upon" he said with a perfect smile and he took my hands in his causing sparks to appear all over my body "are you ready babe?"

"As I'll ever be" I said with a small smile.

Tyler led me upstairs to the Alpha office, I'd never been in there before because the only reason you had to go in there was if you was having a meeting with the Alpha or you had information that you feel the Alpha should know.

knock knock.

"Come in Tyler" I heard Alpha Hale say from inside the office, Tyler gave my hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Hi dad, hi mom" Tyler said to his parents, I bowed my head as a sign of respect.

"Hi sweetie, who is this lovely girl you have with you?" I heard Luna Hale say, I didn't rise my head as I hadn't been told to do so, it was only a form of respect.

"You can rise your head" I heard Alpha Hale say.

"Thank you Alpha"

"Mom, Dad this is Mellissa's sister Annabelle" Tyler said to his parents.

"And what do we owe the pleasure of this?" Luna Hale said.

"She is my mate" Tyler said with such pride it made my heart swell with happiness.

"Ah that is so wonderful my dear, oh we must start the celebrations, we will announce it at the party tonight, the whole pack will be here so it will be perfect time" Luna Hale had such happiness in her eyes and voice she looked like a kid who got a puppy, I couldn't help but smile.

"I thought Mellissa was your mate she came to me yesterday stating how she couldn't stop thinking of you and she couldn't understand why" Alpha Hale said, you could hear the confusion in his voice, my smile faded from my face I guess he could see I wouldn't be a good enough Luna and Mellissa would be better.

"Dad Mellissa lied, she knew she wasn't my mate from the start"

"Is it okay if I say something?" I asked Tyler through the mind link as I didn't want to speak out loud without permission.

"Go ahead baby" Tyler said and placed his arm around my waist.

"Alpha Mellissa knew the traits of finding your mate, my mother and father used to tell us daily as we grew up, they told us every single detail and they never left a detail out" I said with as much confidence as possible.

"She lied to an Alpha" I saw Alpha Hale's eyes turn piercing green showing that his wolf was severly angered at the fact that a pack member had dared lie to him.

"Sweetie calm down, I'm sure she just said it because her and Tyler had dated for a while and she was convinced that they were to become mates and she were to become Alpha female of the pack" Luna Hale said and gently placed a hand upon his shoulder which seemed to relax him instantly.

"I know this is going to sound crazy but you do understand that we will have to do a test with the pack doctor to prove that you two are indeed mates and this isn't a joke or whichcraft, we have kept this in the pack traditions for centuries now, we have to do it with all Alpha children whether they are to take the Alpha position or not and children with Beta blood within them, it is nothing I have against you my dear it is just pack tradition" Alpha Hale said with pure caring eyes.

"I understand Alpha, I realise that there would be a lot of people who could claim to be an Alpha or Beta's mate because they want power, I can assure you that I would be with Tyler even if he was just an ordinary pack member but I will do the tests, when will they be done?" I asked Alpha Hale, I knew there was nothing to fear.

"You truly do care for my son don't you?" Alpha Hale said with pure adoration in his eyes.

"Yes I do, I would protect him and the pack with my life, if I ever had to sacrafice myself for him I would do it in a heartbeat" Tyler growled lowly next to me so I placed my hand on his chest and whispered soothing words to him which caused him to calm down straight away.

"That is amazing.... It usually takes weeks to able to calm your mate down that quickly, we should go and do these tests now as I feel as though there may be something special with your conection with one another" Luna Hale said, you could see the shock on both the Alpha and Luna's face.
