During the " you rock my world video" the producers told Michael that they wanted to alter his look by making him appear to be darker and have a fuller nose in the music video. Michael became embarrassed and sad and he went into the bath room and had a meltdown. He wrecked the bathroom and cut his hair which left one side long and one side short. When frank delieo came to check on Michael he said he was sitting on the floor with his face buried in his hands sobbing and repeatedly saying "they think I'm ugly, they think I'm a monster "
