*Continued from last chapter*
Delia screamed and hid her face under the blanket. Ash almost fell off the couch from being so startled and they both peered over the back of the couch.
Ash said, "I'll be right back. I'm gonna go see if I can find Rosa and tell her what's going on. I'm sure it's nothing."
Delia shivered and hid under the blankets, nodding for Asher to leave but decided to go with him at the last minute and ran to where he was standing by the door with the fuzzy blanket still wrapped around her shoulders.
"Come on." Ash said while grabbing her shaking hand. They quietly went down the long hallway and rounded the corner that connected the hallway to the balcony overlooking the main floor of the house that had couches, chairs, and tables all around. It was a very fancy room but right now, it just looked creepy because the lights weren't on and it was really dark. Despite their fears (actually mostly Delia's fears lol) they carried on across the balcony and scanned the large room below them. You probably could've heard a pin drop it was so quiet in the house.
"R-rosa?" Delia called out.
No answer.
"Rosa were you just upstairs?" Ash said but his voice just echoed throughout the house.
Still no answer.

*Delia's POV*
I followed Ash down the hallway while we held hands. He led the way and I trailed behind but not too far behind and I kept looking over my shoulder. What the heck was all this creepy stuff about anyways?! I was about to tell Ash that we should just start heading back to his room when I heard something make a creaking noise from the lower level. I ran to Ash and hugged him tight. I was so scared but he just dragged me downstairs.
Of course he would drag me towards the danger (haha).
We followed the noise to the large pantry that was located in the back of the kitchen and saw that the power box that controlled all of the power in the house had its door hanging wide open and a large figure lay on her back on the floor.
Oh my word it's Rosa.

Delia's eyes got wide and she released Ash's hand to rush to the spot where Rosa lay.
The creaking noise must have been the door of the power box. The slamming door still hasn't been explained and the crash was probably from that pan over there on the floor. But what the world happened?!
"I have no idea!" said Ash in a worried voice.
Delia mentally slapped herself for speaking her thoughts out loud yet again. Her mind immediately went into "rescue mode".
"We need to get her to the car ASAP." she said urgently.
Ash nodded and they lifted her by her shoulders and feet and slowly but surely carried her out to Ash's Jeep.
Delia noticed that Ash was looking pretty pale and she offered to drive. He threw her the lanyard with the keys on the end and she caught them. Ash ran back to get a few things from his room for the hospital (like extra clothes and a blanket). When he came back, he got into the vehicle and they sped out of the driveway.
