The Perfect World

"I want everything!" The Devil shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Don't you already have the whole underworld?" His wife asked.
"No Persephone I want both worlds!"  He shouted.
"Pluto calm down!" Persephone said. "You can't always have everything."
"I will rule both worlds someday, you just wait and see." Pluto said.

Pluto tired of only ruling the underworld and he decided he would take the Earth. He couldn't let Persephone know or she would try to stop him. He gathered his most trusted demons and told them his plan. "You will go up to Earth and gather their leaders. I want every leader of every country, got that?" They all nodded their heads and started off for Earth.
A while later his demons came back with all of Earth's leaders. "Yes, yes the plan is going perfectly!" Pluto exclaimed.
"What plan?" Persephone inquired.
"Wha? Oh, um... Nothing!"
"Are you planning to take over the world?" Persephone asked.
"No"
"Maybe"
"Ok fine, yes." Pluto said.
"I will help you." She said.
"What?" Pluto asked dumbfounded.
"I will help you, but only on one condition." Persephone said.
"What's that?" Pluto asked.
"You have to give the gods an untouched place to live especially my mother, Ceres." Persephone said.
"Fine deal." Pluto agreed.
"So what is the plan? She asked.
"I have gathered all of the Earth's leaders, then all the land will fall into complete chaos." Pluto said excitedly.
"Ok, so what do you want me to do?" Persephone asked.
"Nothing yet, but soon enough." Pluto replied.

About a day later Pluto's predictions came true. The people of Earth realized all of their leaders were gone and they couldn't do anything to save them. "Now you come in Persephone, you will be featured in a live broadcast to the whole Earth telling them we are going to take over and there is nothing they can do to stop us."
"Gladly." Persephone said.

That night the demons set up a live broadcast and chained all the leaders over a crack in the dimension filled with lava. When they started to broadcast every human saw it. "Here are all,of your leaders!" Persephone said in a booming voice. The demons lowered them into the crack." You can't save your world we own it now. We are going to take over and enslave you all!" With that the broadcast was finished. "How did I do?" Persephone asked.
"Perfect." Pluto said.

Mount Olympus

"So he has finally decided he wants to take over." Zeus said.
"This is awful!" Venus said." My baby Cupid won't be safe!"
"I will stop this." Ceres spoke up.
"How?" Zeus asked.
"I will go down there and try to reason with my daughter." Ceres said.
"Do you really think that will work?" Venus asked.
"I don't know but we have to try." Ceres stated.
The next morning Ceres began her journey to the underworld. When she came to the gates there were more demons guarding it than usual. She passed without notice. Persephone made sure she always had safe passage through the underworld. When she came to Pluto and Persephone's castle she knocked on the door. Another demon answered the door and ushered her inside. She was brought to a huge library and sat down in a chair. A few minutes later Persephone came in and sat down across from her.
"Hello mother." Persephone said. "Hello Persephone." Ceres said." I saw your broadcast last night."
"Oh don't worry! Pluto has promised you and the other gods a safe place to reside for eternity."  Persephone said.
"That is not what I came here for." Ceres said.
"Then why?" Persephone asked.
"You can't make all of these innocent people suffer." Ceres said.
"Innocent? You think they are all innocent?" Persephone asked." They are monsters! What they do to each other, murder, war, and much much more! The deserve a taste of their own medicine." Persephone said. "Each and every one of them deserves to rot in Hell."
"Is there any way I can get you to stop this madness?" Ceres asked.
"No mother, you can't stop us." Persephone snapped.
"Demons show her the exit!" Persephone yelled.
When Ceres returned to Mount Olympus she gave the sad news to the other gods. "What are we going to do?" Venus asked.
"I don't know, Pluto has made and army larger than the population of the whole Earth, he plans to take over tomorrow." Ceres said.
"What will we do?" Venus cried.
"Persephone said she made Pluto promise to leave a safe place for us for eternity." Ceres said.
"That doesn't make it better." Zeus said.
"All of the people on Earth will suffer." Aphrodite said.
"There is nothing we can do." Zeus said.

The next day Pluto came with his army to take over Earth. He enslaved every person on Earth with Persephone by his side.
"My daughter has become a monster." Ceres cried.
"It's ok." Aphrodite comforted her.
"No, I have lost her forever to the Devil." Ceres wailed."I cannot stay here any longer. I will find another planet to give life." With that she set off with all gods in tow to find another far away planet to rebirth. They traveled for many millennia until they found a perfect planet. It was blue and gold, much like Earth but instead of water they had acid, and instead of earth the land was made of pure gold. The beings they found living there were different from humans. They resembled cats with slimy acid proof skin. They were well adapted and friendly to everyone. They did not have wars or murder, in fact the lived a peaceful life with no problems at all. They gladly accepted the gods as their own and worshipped them with all their heart.
"I he never seen a species as this." Ceres said.
"Yes, they don't harm each other or war, this is the perfect planet." Aphrodite said.
"Let's spend the rest of eternity her." Ceres said.
