100 years and a Day

i miss you baby girl.

Nick

I wake up hours later with a still scared Grace asleep on my stomach. I grown setting up. That's when I see it .
the door is open she left the door open! Was it a sick Joke?  I get up slowly holding Grace walking to the door I look around this didn't seem right. My shoulder seems to have it's own heartbeat with every step
I walk down the hall I hear Kylee singing I can tell  from the way she's starling the words she's drunk.
I smile this was it our way out.
I almost run for the door.

Skyler

I missed Nick a lot more every day.
Where did he go? It just wasn't like Nick to just leave.
I walk back and forth around my apartment. I sigh looking at the TV its on CNN they're still talking about the Daycare and Grace with the pictures of Grace and Nick some Pictures from Nicks twitter and Facebook of them together.
The news woman was talking making me roll my eyes.

"could it have been the Mother?, we have no idea who or where she is"  I roll my eyes Graces mom was gone she didn't take her. 
I look back down at my books.
I needed to be studying not thinking of Nick...
1 hours later
I was  Studying when a braking news bulletin comes across the TV.
the kidnapped girl from the Daycare shooting and her father have been found.
I drop my book looking at the TV.
They found him and Grace! I run out the door and jump in my car driving as fast as I can to Nicks house.
But they're not there. I call Nick but nothing. So I call one of the only people I think Nick would call. Scott  I wait as the phone rings
"Hello?"
A sleepy Scott says from the other end of the phone. "Hey Scott did you hear from Nick?, I heard he's back?" .
I hear him sigh "Skyler... You and Nick broke up remember"
"Yeah... But I miss him and Grace, I need to know they're okay" I hold my phone closer
"Skyler Nick was shot....hes in the hospital" I hear him moving around and a girls voice saying something. Nice to see Scott is going back to his ways before Eve. Nick told me about how him and Scott used to be then Scott found Eve and then she got pregnant with there son Jax and Scott quit and stayed with Eve.
Hes quite for a few minutes
"don't go see him Sky... You hurt him, you left During the worst time of his life "
"I had to my parents said they'd stop paying for school if I didn't.."
"Fine whatever go see him but don't call me to check in on him" and with that Scott hang up on me.
I put my phone back in my bag and get in my car. I was going to see Nick I wanted him back...

Grace

I  try and wiggle  away from the mean lady.
I want Daddy why can't I be with Daddy! I kick and scream wanting Daddy.
"Shhhh sweetheart, that awful man won't touch you again" .
I look over her shoulder to see Daddy fighting two big guys. Daddy looks sick he's all white and tired looking. The mean lady takes me Outside to her car "no, no,no,no!" I scream as high I can "Dada!" I don't want this lady I want Daddy why can no one understand me!.
I kick and start biting.

Nick
I stopped fighting when Grace was out of site. I missed one visit with that stupid  social worker and now they're saying I put Grace in Danger!. I didn't do it I would never put Grace in Danger....
"Sir?" The Doctor looks at me "we need to fix your wound"

        5 hours
I was setting in the hospital room. The Doctor said I was fine a few stitches. It was infected but I was fine I hear the door open but I don't look up..I don't care who it is.
"Hey Nick" Skyler says softy walking over to me. I can't look at her. Why was she even here? ....

      3 Days Later
I set in the small count room nervously waiting for the hearing to see if I could get Grace back. I look around I missed Grace so much. I hadn't realized how much I would miss her.. In the year I had had her she had changed me.
As the social worker walks in I see Grace her face is Red and I can tell she's been crying for a long time.... I set and wait as the judge talks .it takes 2 hours but I am given full custody of Grace.
I smile as she runs up to me "Daddy!" She jumps up and I catch her holding her close. "Hey baby girl you OK?" I look around  she nuzzles in to me "me missed you "
"I missed you to baby girl"

After that we go home I wasn't planning on letting Grace out of my sight anytime soon...
