It was 99% candy 1% scary. The kids always had fun.
I look at Grace as she looks around she wepers seeing a clown I agree with her on that one we're staying as far from that one as we can. I hate... clowns! They're so cheaply.
"Hey!, Nick!" I hear Scott yell from across the room I look over and smile seeing he had Jax it had been forever since I'd seen him with Jax after Eve left him for Jake the Bar tinder and took Scott's son Jax .
I wave back holding Grace close... was it just me or was that clown starring at us... I walk over to Scott and Jax away from that stupid clown why would anyone even wanna be a clown! There is nothing Halloweeny about a clown!
Scott looks at me laughing
"Really dude?" I roll my eyes at him he knew my Dislike of clown which apparently my daughter had inherited. "yes really dude, why would you even invite a clown?!"
"Jax likes clowns" he says with a smile.
I set Grace down to play with Jax there was only a year difference in there age.
***4 hours later**
Grace was getting sleepy and grumpy but she loved getting Candy and the attention she was getting for being Piglet and having a Piglet. But it was getting late and closer to Graces bed time.
The candy givers were starting to leave slowly one by one the clown was still here unfortunately.... but that made me want to leave even more.... But I still wanted to See Annabella... I look around. She wasn't here she most have decided not to come...
I look around one more time seeing a beautiful woman dressed in jeans a gray shirt and cat ears her gray eyes looking around till they found me.
I feel my smile grow
