15: The Search

My P.O.V.

Harry and I were running as fast as we could for (1) trying to stay low under the Black Beasts' radar and (2) our enemies were getting stronger and stronger everytime we ran into them. I was growing weak and started to slow down, I collapsed on the cold ground. Harry stopped turning around and running back to me. "Ali come on!" I tried to get up, but ended up collapsing 10 times. I was about to try again until I heard something in the distance. "Al-"
"Shh!" I put my finger up to shush him and concentrated. I whispered "Something's coming"
"How do know? I'm a vampire and I don't here anything"
"Niall told me back at your place that I have super-hearing like Zayn"
"Damn, can't wait to see what's next"
"It's getting closer" Harry moved standing in front guarding me. I tried standing, but kept falling. UGH! Why did I have to be weakly vulnerable right now?! Maybe I can snap out my wings and just fly low for a while. I looked around to make sure I had enough room, sadly I didn't. GOSH DANG IT! How am I suppose to fight when I'm so freaking weak?! Harry stood his ground until we saw what was coming towards us. Thank goodness it was only Niall and Andrea. Niall's wounds were healing, but not as fast as usual just like mine. Andrea smiled big "ALI! HARRY! YOUR ALRIGHT!" Niall sighed of relief "Thank goodness we bumped into you two and not something frightening" Andrea hugged Harry then came over to me. Andrea hugged me so tight she started to choke me "Andrea.... your... choking me" She let me go "Sorry, I'm just so excited to see you guys" Niall helped me up and hugged me, when he let me go I dropped, but Harry caught me before I could hit the ground. Niall bent down and tried to heal me, but I pushed him away "Save your energy, your going to need it" He nodded getting up walking over to Andrea. Harry picked me up and walked over to Niall and Andrea. Harry "Let's go find the others" They nodded and followed us.

Thirty minutes later eight demons, four vampire, twelve incubus' and six some sort of beasts were blocking our way. Niall and Andrea went into battle while Harry set me down. I got worried "What are those?! Please tell me it's a cousin of demons" Harry answered "Your half correct, there a type of demon called acheri  and this is their true form. Their a type of demon that exist in the form of a little girl. Though a special type of demon, they're lower than Black-eyed demons, but definitely power-wise." I started to get scared, but I decided to calm down and concentrate on the matter. I studied them in a matter of seconds and got all the data I needed "So their abilities are Body Materialization, shape-shifting, superhuman strength, invisibility, and superhuman speed." Harry looked at me surprised then turned back to the battle. Harry took something out of his pocket and put around my neck. It's a beautiful silver winged covering a black heart gem. "This will help protect you from the acheris if they get to you. Please just stay put ok?" I nodded, he leaned in kissing me for a minute then pulled away. He ran to join the fight. I noticed two demons and one vampire moving towards me. I tried to get up with all my strength and held myself up on a boulder, I looked around looking for something to help defend myself. I saw sharp rocks remembering that one rock that cut my forehead and saw sharp broken branches. I concentrated really hard and I don't know how, but I moved the objects slicing up the demons and stabbed the vampire. Sadly the vampire was still up and ran towards me. He pinned me to the cave wall inside smirking "Well don't you look delicious. I hope you don't mind me sucking you dry." He started to drink my blood and I winced a little looking around for something to kill this vampire. I screamed when he sucked harder then before and now he ticked me off. I transformed and pushed him off his face covered with my blood. The vampire growled "What the fuck?! Don't you know it's bad luck to push a vampire off when they're feeding?" I smiled evilly "And don't you know that sucking my blood was a terrible mistake?"
"What?!" I'm so glad I got my strength back. I guess I just needed a little push. Now to kill this vampire. "Thanks for the energy boost. Now you can die" I charged at him full speed pulling out a weapon and slicing his head off. I stood there admiring the blade that was now covered in blood. It was a silver double-bladed spear with sapphire gems built in at the end of the spears. I walked out looking around at the battle noticing there was something wrong. 3 incubus' and two acheris are missing. Where are they? I looked around a few yards away from the battle and noticed two girls together frightened by a tree. "It's ok, your safe now" One of the girls spoke softly "Thank you" I nodded "Come on, follow me" I took them inside the cave where the headless vampire was. They walked together to the farthest corner and kneeled there. Something's wrong, I just know it. Why would there be 2 little girls out here in the dark? Unless wait... where's the incubus'?! I was so close to the exit of the cave then suddenly it was blocked and 3 incubus' were standing right in front of me.

Harry's P.O.V

I finished off a vampire when I saw Ali take two little girls into the cave. When she was about to exit the entrance caved in. "ALI!" I ran to the entrance trying to get in moving rocks, but I couldn't without help. I heard Ali scream inside and I was getting pissed. That's it! I'm not going to let them kill her! She's so weak right now, I should've stayed with her! I looked towards Niall and Andrea, they just got done with two demons working together. "NIALL! ANDREA! COME HERE QUICK!" They ran over and looked at the cave, we heard another scream. Andrea asked "How are we going to get in?" I shrugged, then there were painful screams and slashing of blood splattering. No please don't let that be Ali's blood I smell. Just please god no. 
"DUCK!!!" Niall took Andrea hiding behind a boulder and I hid behind a large tree. The caves entrance blew up making a lot of dust fly around, then I saw a figure that smelt like blood. That bastard, she killed Ali. I can smell Ali's blood and others' blood all over her. It doesn't make sense why she turned against her own comrades, but it doesn't matter. She killed Ali and that's all that matters now. NOW SHE DIES!!! I charged at her full of rage ready to kill them all, when I reached out to grab her she dodged me, took my arm twisting it, and put a sharp blade to my neck. She warned me "Don't move" I hissed "You bastard... I should just kill you right now"
"Harry? Is that you?" I was shocked "Ali?"

The dust finally cleared up and I saw Ali holding me with a blade on my neck. She let me go and I saw her covered in blood, I didn't know what to say. I walked up to her slowly and she flinched, I tried again "Ali, it's alright" I moved closer, she did the same. I embraced her holding her close "I thought I lost you" She hugged me back "I'm sorry I worried you"
"How did you survive?" We pulled back and I put my hand on her pale and cold cheeks. They used to be so warm, now they're cold as snow. Ali looked down then back up at me "Back up" We backed away from each other, then she pulled a weapon out and she moved so fast I couldn't see her until she stopped and cut down a big tree. "Woah" Andrea and Niall came out walking up slowly. Andrea asked "Where did you get that and what is it?" Ali answered "The Double Blade of Kira. It was past down in my family for centuries, only the Double Blade of Kira chooses who's master of it. My brother should've been the one chosen 'cause he was the only boy in the house, girls weren't allowed to hold such a weapon. For some reason it chose me and that was passing the gender boundaries. Apparently men had more balance to carry it, that is until I came along." She put the blade away and started walking away. "Come on. Let's search for the others." We nodded then started to follow, I looked around seeing balls of light around us in the distance. "They're the ones who died here, they try to warn others to not come through or else they'll die. They have such good and innocent hearts, spirits." I looked at Ali and she went up to a glowing ball of light floating towards her "And yet... They were not put to rest. They were left here to suffer, not knowing where to find peace. If they don't wait and are afraid not warning others to come, they turn into Black Beasts and feed off of those who come to survive." I walked up to her putting my arm around her "How do you know so much about this place?" She didn't answer. "How was this place created?" When she was about to answer we heard voices, we all looked in the direction the voices were coming from and saw something. A bloody lake?
