9: The Warning; Part 1

I woke up late today, I wanted to sleep in to catch up on some sleep. I turned to see Harry, but he wasn't there. I heard voices outside the door, then a flash came across my mind. I closed my eyes for a moment then I saw 3 demons trying to kill me, I imagined how they would kill me and it scared me. I opened my eyes getting up too fast and hurting my stomach even more. Ugh! why does my stomach hurt now? How come it didn't hurt this much at the lads' house? Okami got up looking at me then walked to the door sliding his claws down on it like knocking. Harry and Liam came through the door noticing I was up and in more pain than before. Harry came over sitting beside me "You alright?" "Yeah ha, it seems ever since we saw each other in the alley I've been getting hurt huh?" Harry giggled "Yeah, Liam can you check it out?" Liam nodded.
"Yeah sure, come to my room when your ready." Liam and Okami walked out of the room closing the door. I got up slowly moving to the closet to get my clothes. I got dressed in the bathroom. My leg wounds healed and half of my arms were healed. I wanted to wear shorts cuz I just couldn't take the heat anymore, it was making it harder for me to breath. "Ready?" Harry asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, let's do this" Harry smiled picking me up by surprise. He carried me to Liam's room setting me down by Liam who was working by a counter. I sat admiring the black and white room.
Wow this room is huge. I guess it has to be for a warlock to work in here and with Sophie staying in and all. Oh wait... this is her room. haha. Liam took my hand leading me to sit on the bed. Harry and Okami left the room walking downstairs. Liam "Can you please lift up your shirt so I can examine the wound." I nodded lifting up my shirt, he examined the wound with his left glowing hand. He collected the data and put it on a blank X-ray sheet. It appeared when he put it towards the sun showing me two broken ribs. Liam shook his head "It doesn't look good. It looks like you had three broken ribs, but one of them healed rather fast just showing it's cracked. When did you first here a rib crack?"
"Well I remember I had one broken rib from 3 weeks ago and then I got 2 more last week."
"Woah, well the first 1 is healing very nicely. It'll be 3 more weeks until it's fully healed and the other 2 we have to set back into place and that'll take a while. When we're done I'll check how long those 2 will have to heal."
"K, how long will it take to set them in place?"
"Well seeing that they are just a few centimeters it will only take about... half-hour each."
"So an hour?" He nodded "Ok let's get started"
*1 hour later*

After an hour of torcher I felt a lot better. Liam put bandages on to prevent any blood coming out just in case a rib gets dislocated and cuts the stitches open. I went downstairs to eat with the others, Harry pulled my seat out for me. I sat down and started eating with the others. "We heard screams upstairs from time to time. What was that all about?" Louis asked.
"Liam was fixing me up. 2 of my ribs were broken and dislocated a little." Sophie gave me a suspicious look "For an hour and a half?"
"Yeah"
"When did the operation start?" Harry asked.
"After you and Okami left we talked for 10 minutes then he started it and that took an hour. He stitched me up and all 20 minutes ago." Liam came down and sat down next to Sophie "I was surprised she didn't scream much, she winced most of the time. She only screamed when I popped it back in place"
"Well I'm glad it's all over, but how did you get broken ribs in the first place?" Zayn questioned. Everyone turned their attention to me, I didn't tell them about Vicky and James yet. Harry was the only one who knew about it. I didn't want to talk about it, I was filled with anger and sadness, but mostly anger. I just wanted to kill them, I would rather kill them and go to jail than see them live. What am I thinking? I shouldn't be thinking like that! I do want to kill them, but that would be too easy. I would rather see them in jail suffering. Nobody knew I had such a cruel side, it was filled with darkness. CJ didn't know I had one that much, but the boys at my old school knew. I punched them and threatened them everyday, but only playfully. Until I actually knew what a boy could do to a girl then I got serious. I got up from my seat full of anger now ready to punch something. "Excuse me, I need to get some fresh air." I went outside going down a path in the forest next to the mansion.

Harry's P.O.V

I've never seen Ali so angry and serious, it's scary. The others seemed to be a little by Ali, even Zayn who always acts so tough. Zayn asked "What wrong with her? Did I say something wrong?" I shook my head, "Not really, she just doesn't want to talk about it." Perrie looked at me "Harry do you know anything about this?"
"She told me the whole story"
"Why would she tell you and not us?" Louis asked.
"It's because their together" Liam answered. I sent Liam an evil glare. Louis cooed "Oooh Ali and Harry together (chiming it) nice"
"When did you two get together?" Eleanor asked interested. Once again, Liam answered for me "In the car at midnight"
"LIAM!" I shouted GOD YOUR SUCH A PAYNE!"
"He sure is," Louis commented, "that's why his name is Liam Payne" Everybody laughed. I told them what Ali told me and they all looked sorry, Zayn felt even more sorry for asking her. When we all got done we waited for Ali in the living-room watching a show that Ali told me about called "Smash Cuts" I told the group about it and showed them. It's been a while since Ali went out, Louis told me to go look for her so I went to look. I followed her scent down a path into the forest.

My P.O.V

I kept walking unfolding my wings to release some pressure. I came to a stop when I was in front of a bridge. I was so curious that I went down the path rounding a corner finding a vined gate. I know it's a bit risky, but I was too dang curious that I hadn't had an adventure for a long time. Maybe I'll have fun like I used too, but without Okami. I opened the vined gate revealing a beautiful path glowing, I followed reaching the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I went further feeling the cool water, I turned around and saw a feathered dress behind me (like the one in the picture above, but a bit longer and no tail) I saw a note.

Note: Dear Ali,

I hope your well, I wanted to give this dress to you when you got older, but I never got the chance. Your older sister lives in Virginia with her husband and son and your brother disappeared the day you left. That's why they didn't get you and you take you back from those people. Since then I have been watching over you from above asking those who can travel to Earth from the heavens to give you this. I never wanted you to live the way you are living now, I wanted you to be happy. I hope you accept my apology along with this dress. When you put this dress on it will become a part of you, it will make you stronger and faster. But do heed my warning, when you unfurl your wings to go into battle your appearance will transform and if you cannot control it then it will take over. This dress was a part of you at one time, but we took it from you and made our blood into thread to put it in. I do hope you can handle it. I'm glad you're alright though. I'm so proud of you, maybe you will be the 'one' to make the impossible possible. And with the help from your friends and partner you will succeed. I also heard from above that you and Harry are now together, congratulations and please be careful. One day I will be able to talk to you in person.

Mom. I can't wait to see you too, after all this time. I wonder what she means by making the impossible possible. Is it a dream my family failed to make come true? When I was little mom used to tell me stories and her and dad's dreams. Is it possible that it means she wishes for me to make them true for them? I took a glance at the beautiful dress mom gave me, I quickly changed into the dress putting my clothes to the side. I unfurled my wings seeing the dress's bottom get more black to match my wings perfectly. I breathed in deeply, I heard whispering to my right and quickly looked. There stood the three bullies from that terrible school, they didn't notice me yet. I quickly hid my wings folding them in neatly walking over to the water. They came closer. How did they even find this place? I thought humans couldn't pass the gate unless. wait... I know this scent. Don't tell me it's them! they stopped looking around then their eyes landed on me. The leader bully spoke "Well look who's here, how did you find this place?" The third bully asked demanding. "Did you lose your way and find 'our' gate?" 'Their' gate, you must be joking. They're the ones trespassing not I. "W-what do you want f-from me?" I tried to sound scared the best I could to not show any emotions, but fright.
"Say where did you get that dress? I think it suits you quite nicely." The second bully said almost admiring it. The leader agreed "Yeah, but I think it would suit her better if it was red like blood."
"Who are you three really?" I started to lose my cool standing in fighting stance putting my wings up as high as they could go making them stiff in place watching them grin and then shape-shift. I was right, it was them. This time... fight to the death.
