19: Back to the Mansion

Okami's P.O.V.

I've been running and running, but I couldn't find the others anywhere. Just after I told the girls' directions to the boys I left to find Ali and I caught her scent at first, but it disappeared within the next second. I just hope they got out and went home Then I remembered that only I can open and close the barrier. I thought for a moment, Hmm. Wait! I'm sure I gave Ali something to open the barrier with, it was just precaution. Ali likes to wander off a lot and the humans used to come here when she was little, so I told her that whenever she came around and noticed humans going in she could get them out. Of course she's not human so she would have to use the charm to get in. While thinking I ran back to the mansion. No lights, no one around, nothing. I searched around the mansion hoping to find an open window, luckily I did. It was a window near the attic so I jumped in. I ran to the attic, but the door was closed. So, I slid my claws down the door hoping Lucas would answer it. The door creaked open and I went in. It was pitch dark, I looked around in the dark room when the door closed behind me. A lamp turned on and there Lucas was just sitting on the bed. I walked up to him sitting down "How are you feeling?" I snarled. He looked a bit scared "I'm getting better. Where are the others? Are they back yet?" I shook my head "Are you well enough to get up and move around?" He stood up "What do you think?" I glared at Lucas for a long time not budging from my spot. I still don't understand why Ali made me bring him here and get treated. After all, he was once one of the demons who's tried to kill Ali for years without a second thought. What was Ali thinking? Lucas limped/ walked to the door "Are you coming or not?" I ran in front of him outside the "Follow me" I ran down the stairs to the front door, I turned back and Lucas was limping to the door opening it. When we got outside and closed the door I grabbed him and threw him over my back. He yelled while I was running "PUT ME DOWN! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" I ran faster knowing we had company behind us "CUZ YOU'RE TOO SLOW! ANY LONGER AND WE'D BE DEAD BY NOW!" I ran as fast as I could through the woods then howled opening the barrier running through it then it closed behind me. I ran faster and faster until I couldn't run anymore, I started to slow down then just plopped down on the ground. I just laid there catching my breath. He got off of me and walked around for a bit looking around "Where are we?" As soon as I caught my breath I got up slowly "In Death Wood, we have to be careful. Especially you" He looked at me confused "Me? Why?" I walked up to him then looked up at the bloody moon "Even though you're still a long way away from becoming an Evil wolf demon, you can still get there in this place or even closer to the transformation." He looked at the moon "I don't get it" I sighed "You're a werewolf right now and will still take years till you're all grown up, but Death Wood can trigger the inner you and wake up the Evil wolf demon before it's even time. As you already know, there are 3 transformations to become a werewolf and 2 to become a complete Evil wolf demon. You are a werewolf already which means that Death Wood will make you go through even more pain by starting from the very beginning again, but it won't take years to become an Evil wolf demon. It only takes every time you transform, the only reason why it takes years for these transformations to process is because you can tame yourself. Death Wood is only going to speed up the process by starting over by making every time you transform the more pain you'll be in, by the time you're an Evil wolf demon you will..."

I stopped. I couldn't tell him what would happen, but he's going to have to know. He asked angrily "I'll what?" I sighed "You'll lose control and die" His eyes widened in horror "What?" I knew how he would die, but I ain't going to tell him. Letting him know how he's going to die is one thing I can enjoy, but telling him how he's going to die is too much for me to handle. I would probably die from laughter. I know, I'm mean and I like it. I started walking "C'mon, we have to find the others" He nodded and started following me. We kept walking until Lucas' buddies showed up, Hayden, Ethan, Nathan and more. I don't know who the others are. Lucas waved "Hey guys, how did you get here?" One of them smiled "We followed you you traitor!" Lucas knelt down, what's he doing? "I'm not a traitor! I just joined this side to help bring peace between the two. This war has gone on long enough and I'm tired of it!" Ethan walked up "We know, we all are. But this war is bigger than us" Lucas gave a huff "Remember how we always talked about ending the war? How we could make the world better? Well here's our chance! Please guys, join us" One of them came forward "Lucas' right" He turned around "Enough's enough" Lucas smiled "Thanks, who else will join Craig and I?" A few more stepped up, Lucas spoke "Christian, Jacob, Nathan, and Zach. Welcome" I went up to them "Ok then, now I see why Ali made me bring you." Craig looked at me "Why is there A Fallen with us?" Lucas explained"Cuz he's the one who saved me" I smiled "I was only following orders. Now Lucas, get off the ground and let's go" Ethan shouted "Hold it! I'm sorry, but we can't let you go without a fight" I went forth growling at him "And why not?!" He didn't say a word, he just transformed into his demon form and charged at us. I ran to Lucas and his bones were cracking, he must be in pain "Lucas. Lucas! C'mon you have to get up now!" All he did was scream. I left him there and charged at Ethan and his little group that was left fighting. The others in our group joined us. Now it's time to knock out a few lights out to bring some sense into them.
