Chapter 14

"Welcome students, as everyone may know darkness is arising outside our castle walls. May I tell you that although siding with the Dark Arts may seem a good choice, if you value your life you won't. Now as many of you would notice dance wear is required for this year as we are being joined by Trosose, School Of Wizards and Lonity, School Of Witchcraft" Dumbledore says. We all look at each other "They will be here on Halloween let the feast commence" and at that everyone started chatting accept me. I went to Lonity and can I say it I am not wanting to see anyone from there again especially Vermilda Hide. She was the worst person in the whole of witchcraft and wizardry accept maybe Voldemort.
"Hey didn't you go to Lonity?" James brought up as we head to the dorms, I nod and everyone gathers around. I sigh "I'm not giving information on a place I hate" I say before going to bed. Only Lily knew why. Only Lily and those at Lonity know why.

The next day I stayed far away from the Marauders and everyone, lessons were boring and I noticed how none of the Marauders joked in lessons. They gave me looks of hope when I walked past, McGonagall was the first to notice as it was the third lesson this week and I had yet to make a comment, James had yet to set a prank, Sirius had yet to yell across a classroom or bribe someone, Peter was working harder and Remus had yet to say sorry for all that we do. Oh and Lily had yet to yell at us to shut up. "May these people stay behind after the lesson Mr Lupin, Mr Potter, Mr Black, Mr Pettigrew, Miss Evans and Miss Gold" she said and everyone started whispering. The boys stare at my head daring me to speak but I kept my eyes on my book.
"Will someone tell me what's going on? It's like you all hate each other!" McGonagall exclaims after the door was shut. I shrug and slouch in my seat, "All we did-" James starts. "We? No your the one who had to bloody ask!" Sirius asks. "Mr Black please be quiet what happened?" McGonagall asks. I knew they want to know but I didn't want them to. I get up "Miss Gold sit!" I sigh and sit back down facing away. Lily looks at me carefully but I look away "Well I remember that Elizabeth had brought up how she had been to many different schools so I asked if she had been to Lonity and well then she walked off after snapping at us" James answered. "Miss Gold is there a reason why you snapped at them?" McGonagall asks but I was blocking it out, not intentionally.
Flashback.
"Oh look Gold is all alone the great fat loner!" Hide. I look over and watch as her and her gang walk over, I was sat by the lake. I then remember them petrifing me. "Quick tie the weights!" A voice said, I tried to move try to get help but I couldn't. I felt heavy then I was submerged in cold bitter water. The spell was released, I didn't know how to swim. It repeated till the day I nearly drowned.
I snap out of thought and find McGonagall holding me as I tried to breathe. I felt like I was in the water again. The screams. The tightness in my lungs. The water becoming darker. The weights heavier. Then darkness.
