Chapter 21

"Lizzie come on" Lily said, I look at myself one last time before stepping out the girls all gasp. "Oh I look horrible don't I? Just tell Sirius I'm ill and to take someone else. Please I can't do this!" I ramble. Lil was beautiful her red hair pinned in an elegant bun and her green eyes sparkled brightly which made her light green dress stand out. Marlene was perfect with her hair done delicately and her eyes shining while her dress looked pretty but hip. Alice was gorgeous her brown hair hung down with it plaited and clipped her eyes matching her blue ball gown. They had similar make up, light lipstick, blush, mascara and an eyeshadow which suited them. "You look fantastic and I think everyone wil be jealous of you and Sirius for being with you" Marlene says. I twirl and they nod "I'll be down in a second I just need to add something, tell Sirius I'll meet him beside the ballroom" I say and they nod. I then clip on my locket. This was it.
Sirius:
The girls were waiting with their dates as I waited for Lizzie. I had to get Prongs to calm me down, I think I showered 3 times and shaved 4, "Are you sure I'm not wearing too much cologne?" I ask. Lily laughs and shakes her head, girls look at me and wink but I return nothing. I put my hands in my pockets then take them out "Maybe she doesn't want to do-",I stop as I hear multiple gasps and turn. My jaw drops at the sight of her, she was beautiful. She wore a champagne colour dress with sparkles, it showed her figure, her make-up was flawless and little, her hair was curled with the sides clipped back. She wore only a locket, one I had seen her wear only when she needs comfort. She smiles at me then closes my jaw "Is it too much?" She asks. I shake my head "No you look bloody perfect" I manage to say, she smiles and blushes. I hold out my arm "Shall we?" I ask and she nods taking my arm.
