"Daddy. Daddy, wake up." You heard Copeland say to Kellin.
"What's wrong princess?" Kellin asked in a hushed tone.
"The sky mad and it scared me. Can I sweep with you an mommy?" Copeland asked in her small child's voice. Kellin picked her up and laid her down between you and him. You shifted closer to the edge to make more room for Copeland.
"Daddy! Wait! I forgot groupie!" Copeland said loudly. Groupie is her teddy bear that Justin gave her and she sleeps with it every night. Since Cope was the first SWS baby, the guys started calling her groupie.
"I'll go get him babydoll." Kellin said as he softly got out of bed.
"Wait! I need to go wit you to help you fight da sky monsters." Copeland stood on the bed and Kellin picked her up and padded out of the room.
A moment later, you heard the soft patter of Cope's feet followed by Kellin. He picked Copeland up and sat her in the middle of the bed. He got back into bed and Copeland moved to lay on top of Kellin's chest. He covered them up and started stroking her hair.
"Go to sleep babydoll." Kellin said as he kissed Cope's forehead.
"Goodnight daddy. Have good dreams." Copeland yawned. Soon you heard the soft, slow breaths of Copeland and Kellin and then you allowed yourself to slip back into the welcoming darkness of sleep.
I know it's kind of short, but hopefully you like it. I made Copeland's speaking parts the way they were so it sounded as if a 3-4 year old were talking.
