We get to the restaurant. I parked and turned the car off.
"You ready ?" I asked her
" I don't have a choice now ." She said looking at the window
I grabbed her face and turned it toward mines.
"Stop whining , we ain't gotta stay the whole time if you don't want to."I told her
"Alright , I guess so then." She told me
I leaned over and kissed her and got out. I went around and opened her door and helped her out the car and we processed to walk into the place.

" Hello , welcome to Finlands ." The lady told his
"Yeah , uh yeah we with , or never mind I see them." I said spotting James motion for us.
I grabbed Jasmine hand and walked over to the table.
"What's up James."I said
"Good to see you again August."he said
Jasmine stepped out from behind me and his face just went in shock and his eyes got glossy.
"Jasmine ... Oh wow , you're all grown and beautiful as I pictured you would be. And pregnant?" He said looking at me
"Yeah." I responded
"Can I hug you?"he asked her
She just stood there staring at him, her eyes also had gotten glossy I knew she was about to break down.
She moved in to give him a hug and backed away quickly.
"Uhh.. Excuse me ." She said walking away from the table.
"Jasmine !" I said trailing after her
"I can't do this August , I told you I couldn't ." She said wiping her eyes.
"Listen, yes you can , your just overwhelmed at the moment because this is you first time seeing him. It's okay Jay. I'm right here." I told her pulling her into a hug.
"I look just like him." She mumbled in my chest.
"I know. Scary as hell." I told her
"Doesn't that mean I look like a man." She mumbled again
I laughed
"No , that's doesn't mean you look like a man, you look like a girl." I told her
I parted us and looked at her
"You good?" I asked
"Yeah , I think so." She said
"Good , because it's cold out here and I would like to go back inside."I told her
We walked inside and went back to the table.
"Sorry bout that ." She said sitting down
"Jasmine,August . I would like you two to meet my wife kaylah and your sister Amaya.
"Hay." We both say unison.
"It's so Finally nice to meet. This man talks about everyday.
" he can't be talking about me that much considering he knows nothing about me." She told her
" Look Jasmine , I'm sorry about that , I was just going through a tough time."he told her

Jasmine Pov
"So since you were going through a hard time you decided to leave / abandoned me and my mom causing us a hard time too." I told him
"No it was never like that , I tried to come back in your life on different occasions, but your mother wouldn't let me. Kaylah would you mind taking Amaya over to the fishes while I talk to jasmine.
He waited for them to leave there table and he started to speak again
"During that time I had I had lost my job and I didn't wanna tell your mom because I felt like i was suppose to be the prover for the family and me listing my job I couldn't be that. I felt less of a man. Me knowing your mom was pregnant and I had just lost my job I couldn't tell her because I didn't want her to stress about it. I also has started doing drugs. Everyday I leave n the morning have her thinking that I'm out being productive meanwhile I'm just getting high with the junkies in a wear house or going into the next town where I'm unknown so she won't catch me outside selling crack and things to keep the lights on. But I started using more then I sold. I have her all the money I made and stole . I put it in a shoe box with a note and I left while she was sleeping. I never wanted to hurt you or make you feel like I didn't want you . I loved you and your mother. I know it was selfish of me and I'm sorry. I just didn't wanna put our family in a badder situation then it already was we me using drugs heavy." He told me
"Yeah and look where that got us. Ones dead and the other have to live with the memories of everything."I told him playing with the glass on the table.
"And I'm really sorry about the I never wanted that to happen. Your mother was my first love no body can replace the amount of love she had in my heart even though I may have not shown as much as I was suppose to. I really miss you and I missed out on a lot and I want to be apart of your life again." He told me
" I don't know i need some time to think on that. Because i don't know right now, I mean my mom told me one thing and you telling me another and I need to take in this new information and think on it."I told him
"Okay."he said
"So uh James when did you met uh Kaylah." August said changing the subject.
"Oh I met her 6 years ago, at a church type meeting thing. she helped me get better I was going through it."he told us
"Oh that's nice." August said
"Yeah,Amaya birthday is this Saturday and I was like it if you two could come , and it would also give you Jasmine I chance to really meet with each other." He told us
"Alright . I mean that's okay I guess."I told him
" look at you being all open minded and adult like." August said smiling at me
" shut up ..dork." I told him laughing
