Chapter- 3

We giggle behind our locked dorm door. "Ladies collect your things. We are heading to the hideout." everyone's faces light up and they smile. "Someone needs to tell James that we are going to the hideout." says a happy Arwen. " Oh I already know" Everyone screams except James who is sitting at the window. Brianna then goes to the window and bangs incredibly hardly making James fall backwards. "GET YOUR STUFF PACKED AND MEET BACK HERE IN 20 MINUTES!" she angrily screams. We all know that it will take my dad 25 minutes to gather himself to then just loose it at us. So that is how long we have to disappear.

4 years ago when we were bored we decided to play hide and seek. I decided to hide behind the book shelf. I then found a secret passage way that led to an abandoned room at the very top of the house. No-one else seems to know about that room, so we decided to keep it that way. So now when we are in trouble, need to escape or angry we decided to go to our hideout.

We gather our things in small backpacks. When we leave, we usually leave for about 2 or more days so we have to pack for everything. We pack about 4 pairs of clothes, our pyjamas (Most of us pack our onezies), our pillows, sleeping bags, iPods/ iPads/ iPhones/ laptops, tooth brushes, soap bars and towels. When we are all packed we wait for James on our beds. After about five minutes he arrives tapping on the window frantically. "Let me in!! We need to go now!" Confused at his desperation to get going, we let him in. "What's all the fuss about?" I ask only slightly confused. "Your dad is on his way up stairs right now!" Without another word we run to the book case and open it up and run through the passageway closing the door behind us on our way out.

As we creep through the passageway my dad’s screams of frustration echo.

When we are finally there we start setting up. Our hide out has an en suite, 10 beds (conveniently) and 5 privacy screens. It's not much but it is great."So what are we having to eat for the next few days?" asks a hungry Courtney "Oh! Please say Oreos!" I don't know what to say to this. We can't stay up here with no food for a few days but my dad probably has the kitchen heavily guarded. "Um.... Who wants to go on a mission with me?" My friends jump up and down with their hands waving in the air. "Um... I pick Hannah, Alex and Courtney." The rest of my friends drop their heads in disappointment. "Calm down guys if we want food we have to be discreet and having 10 of us stamping across the roof is nowhere near discreet." The rest of my friends shrug and go back to setting up.

"Who has a piece of paper?" I ask. "Why?" questions a confused James. "Because. If we want food we need a shopping list." I say as if it's the most obvious thing ever. All my friends roll their eyes and within seconds I have 6 people handing me a notepads. I smile "I pick..." I pause for a long time annoying my friends "That one! Cause it's pretty!" They roll their eyes because every note pad is the same.

"Ok you guys!" Each one of you gets to pick two foods that Alex, Courtney, Hannah and I will steal" They smile and with 5 minutes we come up with a list that reads-

Brianna- 1 pack Chocolate Muffins & 10 Mandarins

Alex- 1 Pack of Oat Slices & 4 punnets of black berries

James- 6 Packs popcorn & 1 box of chocolate fun stix

Courtney- 10 packs Oreos & 1 loaf of bread/ 1 tub peanut butter

Phoebe- 2 Caramel slice & 10 packs crackers

Hannah- 10 pack sour straps & 2 boxes of Twix bars

Monique-10 packs U.F.O & 2 packs Cadbury strawberry Fredos

Arwen- 1 red velvet cake & 6 packs Twisties

Victoria- 6 packs Pretzels & 10 pack sour worms

Billee- 6 packs Cadbury chocolate & 10 packs frozen raspberries
