He said let's get out of this town, there wasn't anywhere near either of our houses or near town that we could've gone, he wanted to make the date perfect. He is a perfectionist of course. We've been on many dates through our high school years, and the last date we went on he asked me to be his prom date. It was like a marriage proposal the way he set it out and the way he approached the situation.

We decided to Drive out of the city for a change, he was driving of course. He knows I like to have a glass or two of wine, even if I'm not the legal age to drink yet. He had turned 17 a few months before and had past his driving test last Wednesday, which was four days ago.

After a few hours of travelling we finally arrived at our destination. Peeta pulled into a carpark and he parked the car up, away from all the other cars. He got out and then he came around to my side of the car and opened my door for me. He's such a gentleman. We walked hand in hand to the little restaurant we had booked a table at, but we made sure we stayed away from the crowds.

The waitress showed us to our table and we sat down, I thought heaven can't help me now when he looked at me with those beautiful sapphire blue eyes. You could get lost in them, just as you could get lost at sea; it's beautiful, just like him.

"What are you ordering?" he asks, just in a hushed whisper.

"I'm going to try something new; nothing lasts forever, so I want to make myself more open to different options. Maybe I'll try the seared turmeric chicken for a change. What about you?"

"I'll have the same," he whispers, confidently but quite shy.

"To a wonderful evening," I toast, raising my wine glass and clinking it with Peeta's glass of water.

"To a beautiful woman, a woman that I get to tell the world she's mine. To a woman who I get to look at in a way no other man gets to. To a woman who holds my heart and forever will. To a woman whom I love, and will forever love, as long as she's willing to let me."

I blush slightly and try and hide my face with my hand, but he leans over the table and moves my hand off my face, and rubbing his thumb over my cheek. "Don't hide, you're beautiful, even when you blush bright red."

We ordered our food and I ordered a glass or two of wine and you could just say that by the time we left the restaurant I was a little tipsy and I could barely stand up.

"Get on my back, Peeta," I whispered as I bent my knees slightly.

"Katniss, you can barely hold your own weight up, let alone having someone else's weight to hold too. I need to get you home to your parents before your father has my head on a stick."

"My father loves you, it's fine," I slur.

"I'm not sure he loves me that much to bring you home after curfew and drunk. He would happily kill me at the first opportunity, but this is going to take me down if I don't listen to you. I'm so torn between doing what I'm told and then doing what you've told me to do. Just get in the car, drink those two bottles of water I have in the door and then I'll get you home."

"But Peeta, I want to sleep at your house tonight. I was thinking we could spend the night together, for a change. Maybe we can get sexy, your parents are out of town and that means we have the whole house to ourselves," I whisper seductively.

"Coming from someone who's as pure as you are, I'm shocked. It's true, you never fail to amuse and shock me again, and again."

"I'm not pure," I snap.
