Narrator POV:

Everyone was shocked to find out Kid and Maka's airplane trip was scheduled for tomorrow. Afterwards, everyone went back to their classes except Kid and Maka. The two had a study hall period after lunch. "Ughhhhh" Maka groaned in exasperation. The school library was never full but DWMA students were cramming for the upcoming exam. Maka started walking away thinking of a place to relax or study. Her thoughts were disabled when Kid blurted out "Maybe we can go to my house to study and come back before the period ends!". Maka stopped dead in her tracks and stayed silent. Kid was sweat dropping, mentally killing himself with a panic attack because he asked such a bold question.

Maka POV:

"Did Kid just invite me to his house?! But we are only studying and we are just friends.........." I thought slightly disappointed. "Wait, what am I thinking, studying is suppose to be the main objective. Anyways opportunities like this don't come on a whim." I mutter to myself. It made me receive a concerned look from Kid, I turned around and finally replied "Yes".

Kid POV:

"Did she just say yes?" I thought. A grin stretched across my face, the same way when I look at symmetry. "But isn't the walk to your house like twenty five minutes away?" she asked since the period is only forty five minutes long. I summoned Beelzebub, "Now it's only five minutes away" I said with a smirk on my face. I hopped on my trusty skateboard and I reached my hand out to grab Maka's delicate wrist. Maka was looking in awe at Beelzebub and was tense getting on. "Grab onto my shoulders, it gets a little wobbly when it's unbalanced" I said. She grabbed onto my shoulder but then...

Maka POV:

I tried to obey Kid's orders but as soon as we took off in the sky, I instantly wrapped my arms around Kid and held him close. His shoulders are so broad, the blissful aroma of vanilla mixed with honey from his hair and clothes tickled my nose. This made me lean my head on his back and embrace him from behind, but then I realized what I was doing. "O no! Kid, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to grab onto you like -------" I was interrupted by Kid saying "No, it's ok, you can keep them right there" He threw me a seductive glance with a blush painted on his checks. He held my hand onto his chest. My heart beated faster and I almost kissed the nape of his neck. "Kid I -------" I didn't even finish my sentence because of the immediate stop. "Kid?" I said. "We're here" Kid said while pointing down.

Kid POV:

We landed on the lawn of the Gallows Mansion and both stepped off the skateboard making it disappear into thin air. I open the door and checked to see if everything is symmetrical as I left it. "Maka, would you like some tea?" I asked. "Yes please" she responded with elegance of her smile.

I was making tea and came back to the living room but Maka was nowhere to be found. Then I heard the piano faintly playing in the music room. The song that touched my ears sounded so sad but familiar. I remembered the day someone played this in the music room at school and since then I couldn't get that melody out my head . I walked in to see my beloved Maka playing the grand piano with her long slim fingers, bouncing off the keys without missing a note. I set down the tea, grabbed my violin, and closed my eyes.
